I'll give a summary on everyone's beliefs on the king thus far. It's nothing too constricting to a character.
Basically you are princess Lorelai's half brother who married Irena. You've been gone in the badlands for some reason or another. You aren't extremely close to your sister and you know the queen loves you. This all just to save time from reading too much going on and everyone's profiles. Um...you may have heard word of some strange happenings in the kingdom due to the queen's recent escapade. I mean other stuff happened but nothing that would make a big deal if you didn't know right away.
