Flynn was spent. He laid there in a wonderful daze. Since this bounty started he had been a mass of anger and frustration. All that pent up emotion was gone completely. He lay there, smiling slightly, just enjoying the afterglow. He opened his eyes a little as Alyson got from on top of him and ran to the bathroom. He grinned as he watched her small naked body jogged across the floor. She really had a petite body, but she was so...energetic. He realized how she was able to get the best of him those few days ago in the ship. He then watched contently as she came slowly walking back to the bed. He closed his eyes and sighed happily as she clung to him and rested her head on his chest. He took his arm and pulled her closer. Every care he ever had in the universe was now miles away to him. He felt her head move slightly. He glanced down and saw her looking at him with those doe eyes he loved so much. He kissed her softly on the forehead. "You're something special doll." He softly cooed as he closed his eyes and drifted off to sleep. The rest of the trip went pretty uneventful. They stopped to refuel and pick up some more supplies and continued on without incident. The whole dynamic of Flynn and Alyson had changed. There was no more sexual tension, or any tension for that matter. They were acting as two young lovers. They would flirt shamelessly with each other. Playful slaps and grabs. Sneaked kisses and even passionate ones. To help pass the time of course. Flynn hadn't felt this kind of joy in quite some time. Every time he heard Alyson laugh or see her smile, he could feel his heart skip a beat. Near the end of their journey, Flynn sat in the captain's chair, with Alyson in his lap. They were feeding each other chips and playfully teasing each other. Suddenly, the cabin light flickered slightly. Flynn turned from Alyson toward the screen. "Hey, uh, VIC?" Flynn called out. "What the hell was that?" Static echoed throughout the ship. Flynn sat up, apprehensive. "VIC?!" His voice started to strain. Slowly the static faded and was replaced by VIC. At least, it kind of sounded like VIC, but something was a little off about it. "I'm terribly sorry sir. Just a slight hiccup. It has been rectified." VIC replied. "'Sir'? 'Rectified'? VIC, give me the details of what just happened." Flynn ordered, confused. "Well, sir." VIC started. "A sub-space transmission was received, but before I could process it, it was rerouted to a subroutine and now it appears to have vanished." Flynn's eyes widened with terror. He gently pushed Alyson out of his lap. She stood behind him and put her hand on his shoulder. "He's fucking smart! He's fucking smart!" Was all that Flynn kept saying for a few moments. He regained his composure and barked an order at VIC. "VIC! Turn off all systems other than environmental and switch everything over to manual!" VIC started to object. ""Sir, if I do that then..." Flynn cut him off. "Do it!" Suddenly half the ship went black and screen after screen turned off. The flight controller rose from the ground and Flynn grasped it tightly. He bean to punch a few buttons and squeezed Alyson's hand slightly. "That bastard didn't give us a week. He just traced us. I may have turned everything off in time, but I wouldn't hope on it." Flynn looked at the small console in front of him and looked back at Alyson. "We're about fifteen minutes away. We're gonna have to hit the ground running doll."
