Short background: The Lost Tribe was formed by a ship of Sith that was lost and crashed on an unknown planet, cut off from the rest of the Galaxy they grew their own culture and their own view on the Sith. They worked in more than twos per example, there was a little less killing between the ranks of the Sith as well. After Jacen Solo went Dark side the Sith Meditation Sphere "Ship" sought out the lost tribe and brought them out into the Galaxy where they raided like pirates for a time and then later freed Abeloth before banding together with the Jedi to kill her. During this time they also occupied Coruscant using force techniques and politics to force the Jedi off planet and take control of the Galactic Alliance.

They were bet back (And on their home planet sustained heavy loses to Abeloth) however eventually the survivors fled back home and the Jedi still cannot find the planet where they came from. Not even its name.
