Hello! This is my role play entitled 'In the Family'. This will involve being a member of a mafia in the present day. To mix things up a bit, we're having a British mafia, set in London. For those who do not know their way around London, here is a tube map, and here is a road map. I suggest that we do not go TOO far out of the centre, possible limiting ourselves to Holloway in the north, Poplar in the east, Brixton in the south, and Sheperd's Bush in the west. If you want to travel further, could you please keep it to a minimum, and not too far away.

Within you characters, you can give them special jobs, such as blackmailing, framing, etc.

Godfather's wife: MissCapnCruch
Sons (two or three): gogojakeo (Thomas), more smapeces avaliable
Daughters (one, maybe two maximum): czechmate46 (Joan), One space POSSIBLE avaliable
Godfather's brother(s) (one or two): AVAILABLE
One or two people to control the enemies: AVAILABLE

For now, I would suggest one character, but possibly two if you want, but try not to use the same space twice, e.g. don't make both of the Godfather's daughters

I would love to play a daughter, any age restrictions for the characters? I have a mobster style character, who is a bit young.

Name: Joan (last name is whatever the family's name is)
Age: 18
Position: Godfather's Daughter
Job: gathering information (uses her appearance to do this easily), taking targets/enemies to their place of kidnap or murder, transporting money
Slight History: Joan is one of the youngest siblings in the family and tries her hardest to do her part in the "family business". She grew up, being exposed to the ways of the mafia, so she barely second guesses herself if she should be involved or not. She often fought with her brothers when she was younger, but now that they are all pretty much adults, they have matured and get along alot better. However, they're still siblings and will have the rare fight. Since Joan grew up in such a large family, attention from her father was rare. Due to that, Joan tends to over achieve on tasks she's given, to make him notice her or be proud of her.
Personality: Joan can be described as being bold and forward with others, never being afraid to call someone out on something or make her voice heard. She takes great care into making her appearance look attractive, as that is a big part of her job in the mafia. She can sometimes be feisty, especially with her brothers and she has a strange taste in men. She doesn't put up with other people's bullshit, but at the same time, she knows her place in the family and respects the elders.

Hmmm, well, the Godfather has a daughter of 18, i'm sure we'll find a son of atound 25, so let's say that the GF is around 50. But hey, men can have children up until they die! So I guess it's all up to the mother's age! I'd say that the mother shouldn't have children any later that 50, so if the GF's wife is 55, then the child can be no older than 5. Get what I mean?

hmm...then perhaps my character can be a granddaughter to the GF?

I think it would be best. Depending on the age, I could have them be the daughter of my character (I'm planning on making a GF son). What do you think?

Hmm...I would like her to be older then five, so maybe around seven-nine? I could make her a bit older but I think having a grandchild in a godfather rp would be really precious.

Name: Thomas
Age: 28
Position: Godfather's Son
Job: Thomas is the muscle of the group. He will also sometimes 'dispatch' of the family's enemies. Translator.
Slight History: Thomas didn't make many friends in school. He knew that his life was planned out for him, and whatever he did, it wouldn't change his future. When he was 15 he started going to the gym, and has been going ever since. Despite having the occasional spat with her, Thomas cares deeply for her, and will protect her at whatever cost, as he has done for her whole life. Thomas has been respectful of his elders for his whole life, but, being the eldest son, is eager to take his father's position as the Godfather. When he was a teenager, his school French teacher introduced him to his love of languages, and he is now fluent in French and Russian.
Personality: Arrogant, irritable. Will snap at you if you annoy him slightly. Has a bit of a god complex. Loves languages. Also more than slightly sadistic.
Appearance: Brown/ginger-ish hair. Muscular. Tall. Caucasian. Has a tattoo on his left shoulder. Wears glasses, but will sometimes wear contact lenses when he has to do something physical, e.g. running, fighting. Brown Eyes. Dresses smartly most of the time, meaning a long sleeved white shirt, and a waist coat. And for the extra formal occasions, he'll wear a blazer. His waistcoat and blazer are purple, just to show off (Purple Blood). Has a pocket watch in his right blazer pocket.
