Decisions made under emotional duress tend not to revolve around rationality and self-preservation ergo it's entirely feasible that they "walked off" to save their families. However, regardless of what the TWD canon indicates, we already have enough soldiers in this RP. Any more and the idea will quickly become trite.I'm not sure if your last remark was a snarky jab or a good-natured joke. In case it was the former, that sounds like a false dichotomy to me. You can have an interesting and complex character without them being yet another experienced badass from the army. In comparison to the idea of , fried chicken warriors sound quite entertaining and original.
I'm sorry, I wasn't criticising the RP for a lack of soldiers. I just wanted to play a force of good in a world overrun by chaos and inhumanity. [S]I had some time to go away, and think about a really diverse set of characters, and If you'll let me, I'd like to play as a: Buddhist Monk, Muslim Iman, Christian Priest and a Jewish Rabi, forced to put asides their ideological differences to survive. I think there would be a fantastic amount of room for all kinds of drama and character development. Especially as each of them tries to deal with the walking dead from the view of their respective faiths. What do you think?[/s] Thinking about it, as interesting as that idea may be, it might offend people who read my posts, especially as I'm not a religious person myself. If you'll still have me, I'll take those 4 KFC workers and make my way through the apocalypse. No soldiers. No guns. No training. Just ordinary people.
