Well, coo coo, oink oink- agh!” Lute dropped the impersonation when the lion bared its teeth at him. “How could a panda and a gorilla coexist in the same establishment!?” The virtuoso yowled in response and skidded off to the side, only to have his exit route blocked by an elephant. Hey, what the hell? “You’re supposed to be on MY side! Elephants are peace-loving creatures, aren’t they!?” Surrounded on all angles by varying animals that look none too friendly, one can only imagine the relief Lute felt when the other members of the Pride came in out of nowhere. “Y-yeah, I’m not gonna move, especially when that lion’s blocking my way,” The virtuoso nodded at Xandra’s advice and stared hard at the ground. Didn’t they say that looking straight into an animal’s eyes is a sign of aggression? That probably wouldn’t be a nice move for someone in his position. “I didn’t do anything, they just pounced on meeeee!” He wailed when the lion growled and jumped back, crashing into the barrels right behind him, “go away, I don’t like you either!” Thankfully, Moira and Syed came to the rescue and practically formed a barrier between him and the approaching beasts. Though he was concerned about their wellbeing, standing in front of him against those sorts of animals, he couldn’t hide that he was a bit relieved. “Okay, um… HELP! We’re gonna get eaten here!” Lute did what he probably did best and hollered, jumping up and down with his hands cupped around his mouth in an effort to see past the hulking outline of the gorilla. Lucien would sure be useful in this situation if his summons could talk to other animals. "An animal tamer would REALLY be appreciated right now!!!"
