-Alex- Alex was unable to reply to the vampire (or so he assumed) as flames engulfed the tree that Alex had been standing under. He jumped back, coughing and covering his stinging eyes as the stench and smoke filled the air. He heard a surprised voice call his name-Delilah? Stumbling out of the thick grey cloud, Alex blinked a few times, and coughed again. He could barely make out her figure dressed all in black a few feet or so away from him. "I think there's a vampire on the loose somewhere," he managed to eke out in between coughs. "Probably the same one who set the manor on fire, seeing as he used the same tactic this time." He tried his best to compose himself, but that was a bit difficult considering the nature of the air surrounding him. Rubbing his eyes, he sighed at sat down a safe distance away from the lingering wisps of smoke. The smell of...what was it, cow manure? was almost too much for him to bear. He tilted his face up. "I say we try to go after him, though I could probably use a weapon of some sort," he said to her, gauging her reaction. Alex had definitely heard of her before; everyone in the hunter community had. After all, there was nothing less expected from the granddaughter of the legendary Katherine Kingsley. It was like the situation with Margaret all over again. This was Alex's chance to prove himself, to prove to the rest of the hunters that he was capable of taking down a vampire just as much as the two girls. "What do you think?" he asked Delilah, confident she'd support his plan.
