"Remember. Head-on attacks don't always work." Dren instructed Karela as they continued sparring in the training field. "A head on attack against an opponent who's ready for it can end up being more devastating to you then to your intended target. When fighting, it's best to adapt to the situation rather than to keep throwing yourself at your opponent." Karela was breathing heavily as she nodded. She had insisted that the two of them train after their failure of working as a team the night the rebels had taken back Konoha. And to be fair, she had learned quite a bit. Dren wasn't that bad of a teacher when it came to fighting. He looked her over once again. "Why do you think we performed so badly the last time we fought as a team?" He asked in a tone that told Karela he knew the answer but he wanted to know if she knew as well. "Because we had different goals from everyone else that night. I wanted to kill as many solders as I could and I was filled with anger. And you wished to...well, I don't know why. Your fighting style is different from what it was that night." Dren nodded. "Correct. And the reason I did so poorly was because I was trying to redeem myself that night. I didn't focus one hundred percent on what needed to be done for the village that night." Karela returned her kunai knives to the pouch as Dren looked over once again. "You have so much anger in you, Karela Yatoma. Anger is never a good thing to be influenced by when fighting. It causes people to make rash decisions that they would not normally make and mistakes that they would not normally make. I know that you are angry about what happened to your home...to your family, If it had happened to me I would most likely do what you have done. But you need to let go of that anger. If you don't...you'll turn into something that you'll hate. It may take a long time to let it go but I believe if you do you'll be a better and happier person." "Yeah. Like that's going to happen anytime soon." She muttered. Karela simply shook her head as the two of them headed back towards Dren's home and after walking for a short time saw someone at the door to Dren's home. As they got closer they saw it was Lady Kaede. Dren bowed and smiled. "Lady Kaede. I apologize for not being here. Karela requested assistance in a few matters and I thought I would help her. If I may ask, what are you doing here?" He asked curiously. Karela let a small smile appear on her face when she saw Lady Kaede. "Greetings Lady Kaede." She said simply.
