Adam Leo Blackmore. Since Adam could understand powers on a more intuitive level, he was not surprised when Annabelle appeared behind him. "It is fine, Ms. Ravencroft." He adjusted his glasses as he stared down at the clipboard. "You are just on time." He half-smiled, speaking to her warmly. Adam was a known name around the staff, and he was well versed in regards to his other staff members. He knew a little bit about Annabelle's problem, and he respected them. That aside, he was glad to have her here. There was a fourth power instructor, but she couldn't come, and he had to choose the next best person - Ravencroft. He cleared his throat, "And to answer you, my fourth assistant was absent, so the board choose you to be a temporary instructor." Adam smiled again, coughing, putting a fist to his lips. "In any case, I am glad to have you here-" Adam was surprised when a student started shouting. He nearly dropped his clipboard. He gave the source the evil eye. Victoria LaRousse... One of the older students that fancies herself as an underdog. These antics weren't unexpected. She was always challenging people to the arena and other tomfoolery. He was one of those she wanted to fight. Adam facepalmed, shaking his head to add onto it. While Victoria has plenty of potential, he refuses to fight the students -He wasn't being arrogant here, but he has so much experience over 90% of the students that it would be unfair. He threw his head back, staring directly at Victoria, tipping his glasses. "LaRousse. Sit down." That was normally enough to silence her. She already went onto harassing Henry. The next person to speak to him was somebody whom he never seen in years, a student. Christopher Fox. Easily one of the finest students Adam ever taught. It was a shame the incident ruined him - In fact, Ad am thought he had long died. If there wasn't Red tape in the way, Adam sure would have brought him back under his wing. "Christopher Fox..." He said, "I remember you clearly, one of my finest students..." He spoke proudly. He nodded his head. Chris pulled out a screw, and told him that was the maximum he can lift now. Strange. Before Christopher was capable of much, much more, and demonstrated it. Perhaps Chris was incredibly out of practice? Adam nodded his head again. "You've gone back to square one? But, I will do all I can to get you back to full strength." If only Chris demonstrated, Adam could gauge what he was capable of. "The same goes for the rest of you." Theresa Sindel Obott, & Dana Lucille Alcott. Suddenly, they were popular again. Poppy walked up, and started speaking about how she's so nervous. Heh, it brought back memories. Poppy was acting the same way Theresa did during her first power training. Back then, she was a young boy. A power that he didn't understand, and thought was illegal, training with people who have infinitely flashier and more powerful abilities? That prospect was absolutely terrifying. But the difference between herself and Poppy was that she didn't have a helping hand. Theresa was going to help the little girl - So was Dana. "Sure..." She said, with a warm smile on her face. "I know you can probably see this bit of advice coming from a mile away; but don't be nervous. It's not as bad as you think it'll be." Tess put a hand on her chest. Dana saw Poppy before on the first night, but they've never got the chance to introduce themselves to each other. She turned around and tried to get a good look at Poppy - Theresa turned her wheelchair around to face Poppy. She smiled, and tried to speak kindly, "Yeah, you barely have to participate in it... Adam said something about showing as much of your power as you're comfortable with." Dana took a guess when she said that was probably what got Poppy nervous. "It's what me and Tess have to do." It was true, Dana was rather unsure of how people might react to their powers - Theresa was more at risk here. Then again, she remembered she and Poppy haven't been introduced. "I'm Dana Alcott. A full student here for seven years. I know my way around, you could say." Before long, Henry walked up in his fully customized suit. It was quite formidable, just like it's wearer. The things he scratched into it was rather amusing. Both Dana and Theresa knew that Henry fought in the arena plenty of times. They know, despite avoiding fighting in the arena like the plague, they watched. Their own suits weren't as battle scarred as his, but they did look hella cool (Theresa personalized her suit a little bit). Theresa gave Henry a feigned disgusted look, throwing up a hand, "Look, Henry, we know that everyone has their own little soul mate out there...." She smirked slyly, "... But you ain't going to find her with lines like that." She giggled a put, putting a hand to her lips. What totally ruined the scene was this crazy woman (Who was previous shouting at Adam) jumped onto Henry's back, demanding that he fights her. That was certainly unexpected, but not too surprising. Theresa faked being surprised/stressed, she put up a hand, and spoke to Victoria, "Whoa, whoa, whoa, calm your tatas." Because this chick really needed to calm her tits. They might smack someone in the face, or explode! Dana detached herself from the scene with Victoria and Henry, and focused on Aislin, the girl that she had met a few hours ago. Dana turned herself to Aislin, and smiled. "That is a nice suit..." She complimented Aislin. "... But not as good as mine." She said, playfully. She wasn't trying to sound arrogant, but she was playing around. Actually, since everyone was putting their suits on, she figured that she should get her suit on. Since it will be hard as hell to put on, and it's hard to put on without a friend. "Hey, Tess," She nudged her friend's shirt, "Can we go put on our suits? I'll need a little bit of help with mine..." "Oh, yeah, sure." Theresa's attention was snapped right back to Dana. She winked and waved goodbye to everyone suggestively, "See ya' later ladies..." Before walking Dana into the locker room. A little while later (Putting on Dana's suit was definitely a challenge) the two walked out of the room, fully suited. Dana's suit was easily one of the most unique suits out of everyone here. Because it was less of a suit, and more like a cloak. Two massive, obscuring, hoods/capes which was large enough to conceal Dana's body and more. Topped off by a hood. It even had a helmet (Similar to a motorcycle helmet in shape and design) underneath the hood, which hid her entire head, but it had two tinted openings in order for her to see. It absolutely covered her from head to toe. There were some discrete openings on her back and her sides. Other than that, it was looser and more elastic than the other suits, to accommodate her transformations (It was hard designing it since nobody really knows what her alternate form looks like). This was all merely because she needed to be out of sight to use her power. Since she doesn't need to activate her power right now, the hood was down, and the helmet was in her lap. People might notice that she is rolling around in a different wheelchair as well. A more armored and sturdy wheelchair, painted black like it was black ops. It was electronic. My god, I feel like such a super villain! Theresa's suit was a Byzantium purple color, not too different from the other suits in appearance. But, instead of the suit ending at her neck, it went up to her lower face. It had a gas mask integrated with the design, so she didn't have to worry about her drug contaminating the air. The suit was designed to keep her liquids from leaving her body, so it was pretty water resistant. It didn't cover for tears however. The suit wasn't any different from the other suits. It had armor, and other materials. Theresa pushed Dana back into the scene, but at the corner of her eye, she saw Ethan hanging over the group like the awkward loner he is. Hmph. He isn't going to make friends that way, now is he? "I seeeeeee you, Boyscout." Theresa said to him in a teasing tone - It was hard to make out her tone because of the gas mask. "C'mon in, we aren't going to bite..." Then her gaze turned to Henry, grinning like a fool, "... Well, we aren't going to bite, Henry here? A solid probably." She winked at Ethan. Dana turned back to Aislin, calmly, and playfully, saying, "... See?" She pulled the cape open for Aislin to see it better. She smiled, "I hope we get on the same team today. I personally want to be paired with Tess - Oh, you haven't met Theresa have you?" She pulled onto Theresa's shirt again "Heeeeey..." Theresa said, looking at Aislin. Damn, she was good looking, had curves too. She realized that she was staring, when she introduced herself. "Like she said, I'm Theresa... Hands down the most fun person here." Theresa chuckled, "Personally, I'd rather chill on the island than be here. Regeneration isn't something I like training...." She mused. Amanda Daisy Blackmore, & Nikki Biyung. It seems like Matt was a lot more sensible than Nikki's beloved cousin. "Yeah, I get it." Which was a relief since Nikki would go crazy if there was a male version of Amanda running around. Opposites do attract. "Nice to meet you too, Matt." She returned, quietly but politely. She stared around the room, and spotted some people she didn't like (Lynn and Vespera in particular). She definitely didn't want to get paired with these people. "I really don't want to be paired with strangers on my first day...." She sunk down into her chair, looking over her shoulder. "... I don't play well with others, if you know what I mean." "Haaa..." Amanda let Matt and Nikki talk before she stepped in to say something. Personally, she was fine with competing against her potential boyfriend. It was her cousin that she was worried about. "You know you want me want me, and I don't want no weaklings!" Amanda loudly announced. "If we fight against each other, I expect you to win. Or you can kiss all this..." Amanda did a gesture over her figure, accentuating her curves, shaking her hips. "... Goodbye. And I don't mean literally!" She stuck out her tongue at Matt. Karlie walked up, and both girls turned their attention toward her. Amanda put a hand on her hip, "Ooooh, girlfriend!" She did the most annoying, forced, girly-teenager voice she could. Just because. "This is Matthew, he's taken. I'm willing to throw tables over for him already!" Amanda put her fist up triumphantly. This was the girl that set that French girl off. Now that Nikki started paying attention to her surroundings, she saw Victoria jump on the lizardman's back. Yup, that girl was pretty yonkers. In fact... "Hey, Karlie..." Nikki stood up, slinging the gym bag full of insects over her shoulder. "Guys, I'll be right back. I have to put my suit on... Whatever it looks like." I just pray it doesn't look like shit. She wandered into the locker room and looked around for the locker that had her name on it. It took a little while, but- Bingo. She opened up her locker, and pulled out a dark-green suit, it had a note on it saying (Secret compartments underneath the armor to store arthropods in). Hm... This suit gives her some ideas, and she's allowed to personalize it too? She's going to have a ball when she got done with training. Perhaps give it a mask? Actually, she could do without the kevlar. Silk from a black widow spider had more tensile strength than kevlar. That makes it superior. Oh well, for now, she'll have to deal with the shitty kevlar. She took off her clothes until she had on nothing but underwear and slipped the suit on. Hmm... Yup, she was uncomfortable in this. It made her feel like a slutty comic heroine. It wasn't any better since she didn't have much to show. No curves. No boobs. No butt. While there were plenty of people who had that. This suit would be a little better if she had a spider mask to go with it. At least she could hide the shame. For now, she'll have to use this. Nikki walked outside the locker room, and almost immediately "Lookin' good!" Amanda said to Nikki, having her own suit on. Amanda's suit was a dark - cobalt blue - color. It had metal plates on it, instead of regular armor. It had spiked knuckles, and armor on her fingers and palms. In fact, Amanda had activated her metal manipulation form. Her jet-black flowing hair turned into metal - Specifically silver. Much of her body was coated in various metals. Her hands were coated in a shiny steel, it appeared like the metal was embedded in her hands. Amanda's eyes turned into platinum as bronze coated the right side of her face. Several of Amanda's other body parts were coated as well. Her right shoulder was coated in titanium, her breasts were coated with Osmium, feet were coated in gold, and so on. "When did you put your suit on?" Nikki asked. "I did it off-screen!" Amanda said with a giggle. "Fourth wall powers, bitch." "I hate these suits. I feel like everyone's going to be ogling me the whole time..." Nikki mused. "Ogling what?" Amanda teased, "You ain't got no curves, beloved cousin." She grabbed Nikki by the wrist, "C'mon, let's show Karlie and Matt!" She dragged her cousin back to their friends. She let go of Nikki, and did a hip walk. "What do you think boys? The Metal Witch is smokin', right?" Nikki put down the gym bag and crossed her arms. Jake, & Gabe Valos & Sylvia Bertoose. Meanwhile, the Valos were suiting up in their outfits. Jake got a standard suit, since a suit wasn't going to enhance what he already had, but it was light-grey. Gabe's blood-red suit wasn't standard, it left the palms of her hands exposed, and the suit was heat-resistant - Just so she can go ham with lasers. Sylvia's suit was a white color, and had speakers hidden throughout the suit that she could draw sound from. These speakers all had armored wires under the fabrics connecting them to a singular iPod that Sylvia has. Jake got done first, and was standing outside waiting for his two sisters to get finished. When they walked out, Jaska was no where to be seen. Perhaps he was having trouble putting on his suit? Maybe I should go in... Jake thought to himself. His process was interrupted when he was poked with an elbow. Gabe asked, "Hey, Jakey, that gal look familiar?" She pointed at Kristen. Yeah, he did. That was Kristen, a supermodel they were introduced to when they went to one of their Dad's parties. She was quite the dynamite girl, though a little clingy and had self-esteem problems. "Yeah, that's the Supermodel Superstar." SS. That was Jake's nickname for her. "Let's go chat her up!" Gabe said walking over towards Kristen. Sylvia skipped behind Gabe, sarcastically saying, "Oooooh, I've never met someone who was a superstar and a supermodel." "Wait! I have to wait for Jask..." Jake trailed off. Honestly, he wondered if he should really wait for him. Jaska has very good tracking and sense of direction. They got separated plenty of times and he found them like it was nothing. Besides, Little Dragon would probably scare the piss out of Kristen. Kristen had a little group around her already. Jake's room mate Red stood out, then there was this half-asian loser that nobody had seen before. Ugh, he probably just wants her autograph or try to get a date. Which made Oliver trash in her eyes. "Step aside, Jake Long." Gabe said to Oliver as she pushed him aside with one hand. Utterly disregarding him. She crossed her arms and looked directly at Kristen, smirking slightly, "Well, well, well, ain't this a surprise." She said, "First we find Syl here, now you? What other long lost mysteries will this class reveal to us." Gabe's tone was amused and playful. "Yo, Schwally." Jake waved at her. "It's been a long time, now has it?" He smiled. Though, he briefly turned his attention to Red. It didn't take a genius to tell they knew each other. "I get the impression you two know each other? Small world, huh?" "Ooooh, I've seen you before..." Sylvia giggled, she saw this girl on the cover of magazines before, she was quite the attractive one. It wasn't too much of a surprise that Gabe and Jake knew the girl. They were loaded. They probably met movie stars, or sports legends on a daily basis! Sylvia looked at Kristen, and casually teased, "How does it feel to help so many lonely boys with their 'budding interests'?" She giggled quietly, hoping that her little joke would fly over Kristen's head - Because let's be honest, that'd make it funnier! Of course, none of that shit mattered to Sylvia. Rich or not, this girl was probably just like everyone else here - Deserving of no special treatment because of what they were before they got on the boat. Jaska Din Valos. Good, they left. Jaska got from behind the wall he was hiding behind. He... He didn't like Sylvia. So he was going to spend this time by himself. Just... To think about things. He had his suit on, specially made for him. It fit around his bestial features, and had openings for his claws, tail, and wings. It was a bright and pronounced gold color. Almost matching his eyes. Jaska walked his way over to the chairs and sat down. Kicking his legs back and forth... Getting really bored. Hm? Someone walked up to him and started talking to him. It's a guy, had to be way older than him (Like everyone else in here, really, are there any Meta-kids?). He didn't pay too much to what he looked like, more of what he was saying. Him, nervous? Maybe... What he didn't want to talk about was his alternate form. That's what scares him. He didn't have the unshakable confidence of Gabe, or the level headedness of Jake, he was just... a kid, really. No real skills other than being a budding predator. In fact, he barely understands the social norms. One thing he did understand was what Jake said. Don't talk about it, and they won't ask. "Um, no, I'm fine." He said, nodding his head. Speaking of his head, what Stephen said about 'flow off of them like this'. He had no clue that Stephen was referring to his body heat (Thus, the fact that Stephen can see heat followed). "What? What flows of people...?" He asked, confused. When Stephen introduced himself, Jaska hesitantly followed, "... I'm Jaska." It came clear that Jaska wasn't too good with talking to men. Deborah Lillian Termellio, & Shannon Jacqueline Balore. Victoria being... Victoria wasn't too interesting (Desires to be regarded as a warrior, but can't keep up). Shouting at Adam only told her even more of the obvious. She just shrugged. More people were walking in by the second. Including Ms. Ravencroft (Suffering the effects of PTSD), Vespera (Attempting to assess the weaknesses of the other students, does not want to be bothered), and Kristin (Has a compulsive desire to please everyone. Somewhat nervous). There was so many people in here, that it was hard to assess all of them - that, or they didn't have useful information attached to them. Deborah shrugged again, she was wondering if she should just head into the and put on that uncomfortable suit. That was until Christoper Fox, the man she was eavesdropping on earlier today, walked up and spoke to Adam. It wasn't really being nosy - the guy was practically speaking in front of everyone, apologizing for an incident (Incident in past forced him into seclusion, out of regret). Interesting. So he can only manipulate a screw (Possible ferromagnetic or ferrokinetic power)? The way he spoke, it implies that he wasn't as strong as he used to be (Self-created mental blocks inhibiting powers, dropping those blocks will allow him to use the full extent of his power). There was so much more to learn, but she couldn't sit here all day gathering gossip. Adam would jump up in her face if she didn't have her suit on before everyone else. And the last thing she wanted was to hear that man bitch. Debby got up from off her chair, and walked into the locker room. Her locker was the same as it always was, and so was her suit. Debs wasn't the kind of person to fight in the arena, but she sure as hell loved personalizing this suit when she trains. Shannon helped a ton. It was a black suit, patches around her collar, arms, and legs were a dark-yellow color. It had a massive eye of providence symbol over her chest, symbolizing her ability to seemingly know everything. It had a black eye mask go with it. It had zero practicality, but it looked stylish. This suit looked cool, and fit her just fine. It had no special features that assisted when using her powers. It was otherwise a standard suit, just personalized to fit Deborah's tastes. When she was done, she stepped out of the locker room. She scanned the room for someone to talk to. There was Shannon patiently sitting right there in her own suit. Deborah smiled, and sat down next to Shannon. "How are you doing, Silkworm? I see you changed your suit." Shannon smiled at Deborah, "Yeah, the other one was starting to get old." She looked down at her suit... It was so customized that it didn't even look like a traditional suit anymore. It was pink, and had red roses (with green stems) all over her limbs. There was a bright red heart weaved right where her heart would be. On the other side was the moon. Shannon had weaved something like a long-coat into the design, it was a dark red color, very large, it went down to her heels - It also has a small cape (Of the same color) around her hips. She crossed her legs, posed, smiling suggestively at Deborah, "... Like it?" "Um..." Deborah liked the suit, but didn't like the blatant display of their... affair? (She is attempting to entice me). Successfully enticed me. But, not in front of everyone. Deborah was quick to put it down, bluntly saying, "Yeah, it's great, I bet you put a lot of work into it." Shannon rolled her eyes. She understood what Deborah was going for, and she was just going to play along. "I think you should keep this on you." Shannon's handkerchief (Which was gifted to Deborah) came out of her own suit, and floated towards Deborah. "Just in case we need to communicate during class." Deborah grabbed it (Shannon is hurt) and asked, "Where do I put it? It'll..." The handkerchief slipped out of her grip, and slid into Deborah's outfit. Well, all it has to do is touch her in order for her to use her telepathic abilities. "... You know if we're on opposite teams, Adam is going to piss himself?" "And if he does?" Shannon chuckled, "It won't be any worse than what we're used to." Valjean Vaseal. It was time to get suited up! Valjean already had his suit on from the moment he walked through the doors of the room. A tan, desert-colored, suit, with hidden openings all over his body to allow his extra limbs, his hands were even exposed. His suit was also extra-elastic to withstand his transformation. The suit wasn't personalized like everyone elses. He kept it neat and simple. It isn't a fashion show, kiddies, get over yourselves. He immediately scanned the room for anyone to talk to... Debby is talking to that bitch Shannon, Henry is getting ridden like the dinosaur he is, Chris is dickriding Adam - Pttf. Everyone is still being a bunch of losers. Nothing interesting. Hm... He saw Vespera in the corner hovering over everyone. Probably thinking of ways to creep. Perhaps he'll go amuse himself with how weird she is by having a chit chat - Even if she didn't want to talk to him, he'll talk to her anyway. Just to annoy her. He grinned as he walked over to her. "Hey, Creepy-Girl," Valjean said, smug, attempting to get Vespera's attention. He sat down next to her. "Saw you creeping here in the corner and thought I'd say hi." He wanted to see how she'd react before he continued. Matthias Landon Oxenford. Matthias's suit was a white-silver color, and had literally nothing special about it. He felt happy to have it on. He felt like a super hero in this. Now it's time to fight some evil! He stood in the middle of the room, awkwardly looking around. Probably should find the evil before he does anything. There's that creepy girl in the corner, she looks pretty evil. Hmm... Maybe creepy, but creepy is not evil. There was that teacher on stage in the lab coat with the spiky hair. She looks like a mad scientist! Actually, maybe beating up teachers (That look like soccer moms at that) would not be the best idea. Matthias frowned, maybe he'll go talk to someone. Hmm... Someone alone - Because they'll probably both be friendless loners! Yeah! Matthias saw someone who looked pretty gender ambiguous hanging by the door (Salim). Definitely fits the definition of loner. They won't be friendless loners after today! Matthias couldn't contain himself as he walked over to them, with a smile on his face that was supposed to be friendly, but came out as creepy. "Oh, hey, I'm Matthias, you?" He immediately introduced himself, trying to sound charming. He hit a wall when he realized that he didn't have more to say. So he said the first thing that came to mind, "That's a cool suit!" Genius.
