:: Saila Eman-Tsal :: Simply observing the room actually proved to be quite interesting. Although most of the students looked more or less ordinary, there were a few who exhibited certain rather unusual characteristics. The most noticeable of which was probably the large humanoid lizard, who had just returned wearing a fairly impressive looking suit of armour. He was currently in the middle of one of the small groups which had formed throughout the room, casually chatting with some of the other students. Within the same group were also two unusually dressed students, one wearing a long, very concealing looking outfit, and the other equipped with some sort of rugged, sturdy looking gas mask. The one in the concealing cloak was also sitting in what appeared to be a reinforced wheelchair. In another group, there was a girl seemingly covered in miscellaneous metals, and a harsh looking boy, who, probably using some sort of biologically derived power, had just sprouted a inhuman pair of vicious fighting claws. There was also a dishevelled one armed man speaking with the teacher, and a girl who, upon closer inspection, turned out to be missing an eye. Ouch. Saila would have continued the silent inspection of the room's many occupants, but noticed another student approaching. Well, technically, noticed wasn't really the best term... "Sensing" would have been slightly more accurate. Probably a young man, from the feel of it. Ignoring his attention out of common courtesy, Saila waited until he actually arrived before turning towards him and pretending to notice him for the first time. People often tended to be a bit unnerved when you reacted to their presence before it actually became known, experience had told. "Oh, hey, I'm Matthias." he introduced himself, in what was probably an attempt at sounding casual. "You?" The boy was tall, lanky, and slightly clumsy looking. Black haired and pale skinned, he wore a simple silver-white body suit, very similar to the one Saila had previously put on. Its skin-tight fabric did nothing to hide his skinny and un-muscular frame, clinging unflatteringly to his bony features. He had a sharp, almost piercing gaze, and his features, while rather plain, could be considered to be moderately attractive. He was currently donning an uncomfortable looking smile, awkwardly trying his best to look natural. "You can call me Saila Eman-Tsal." Saila responded, before amusedly adding with a smirk. "Or just Saila or Eman. I've been told the whole thing can be quite a mouthful." The androgynous teen spoke with a smooth, fairly neutral tone of voice; cool, but not exactly unwelcoming either. The words were said with a slight, yet clearly perceptible British accent, with distinct traces of something else as well. French or Middle Eastern perhaps? Maybe Hispanic? The name sounded a bit Arabic, but the olive skin tone seemed like it could go either way, really. There was a short, uncomfortable silence between the two before the boy spoke again. "That's a cool suit!" Saila looked down at the suit which was provided earlier. It looked a lot like the one Matthias was wearing, only this one was coloured dark grey instead of whitish silver. The armour plating was shaded a slightly darker variation of the overall colour, but it otherwise remained very bland and unadorned. The mutant figured that it was probably made of some sort of high-tech Kevlar weave developed by one of the so called "super brains", given the material's unusually light and flexible properties. It would be interesting to see if it was as durable as the regular variety. While it wasn't quite as form fitting as say, latex, it was only marginally thicker than an average diving suit, and revealed a bit more than was strictly comfortable. The plating helped provide it with a more tactical look, however. "Yeah, I suppose so. I'll probably modify mine in the future though." Saila sat up, legs nonchalantly crossing in the process. "It could probably use a bit more armour plating..." Saila raised an arm up for a moment, thoughtfully examining the fabric. Maybe a little additional material on the forearms and shins, to start with...
