	With Teiji denying a share of the cash gift, Sato became the sole owner of the thick wad of cash. He shoved it into his back pocket and pulled out his phone, flipping it open to check the text he had gotten. While he was expecting it to be from Akiko, he was almost pleasantly surprised to see that it was from Ryouta. Almost, due to the fact that he immediately suspected that it would just be him pestering Sato to come hang out with him.

	Sato decided not to reply, just to keep up the illusion that he was occupied with something. While he never considered himself particularly close to Ryouta, he had already lied to him and getting caught wasn’t exactly his idea of having a good time. Sato himself wasn’t too keen on the idea of keeping out of sight of a specific person blended into a crowd, it would be an utter waste to ruin the time by being salty about it. 

He turned to Teiji after a minute of staring blankly at the text. “I still think we should go on the ferris wheel. I always loved ferris wheels as a child.”
