Right after some guy she didn't know picked out Starly, Abigail had immediately stepped forward towards the poke balls lined up, not caring if she had just broken in line at all. What only seemed like seconds to most, Abigail had ran up to the pokemon she wanted. "I'll take this little cutie~" She said with a smile as she picked up a pokeball. She had a bit of a dilemma since they didn't have a Phantump or a Snorunt, or any other pokemon of those type she favored, but thankfully she was able to decide relatively quickly. She walked away from the other poke balls to give others room to choose theirs. With a little flourish of her hand, she tossed the pokeball. In a flash of red light, a Pokemon was released from the small sphere. The Honedge, was not her first choice of pokemon, in fact, she had never considered using one before. Now that she had her hands on one though, she couldn't be more excited. She gave out a squeal of excitement as she jumped a few feet into the air. "Awww, aren't you just the cutest little sword! I'll name you....Fi!" The Honedge though, seemed somewhat confused. This was the first time being out of its pokeball, and the first time ever interacting much with a human. It was a bit stunned and couldn't make up its mind on what it should do. This human seemed somewhat energetic to put mildly. That, and it seemed to be completely friendly towards it. Not that that was a bad thing, it was just unexpected. "I'm Abigail, and I am going to be your trainer! You're the luckiest little pokemon ever!" She giggled as she grabbed the sword pokemon by the handle. "Why you ask? Because I, Abigail Linwood," She stood and struck a dramatic pose with the sword pokemon still in her hand, pointing it towards the ceiling. "Am going to be the champion of the Willow League!" She exclaimed rather loudly while a huge grin and a laugh almost as loud as an Explouds uproar. Abigail's enthusiasm seemed to be a bit infectious, as the Honedge let out a cry of its own, before Abigail released its handle and letting the pokemon return to floating a few inches off the ground. "I think you and I are going to get along great!" She giggled as she gave the Honedge a pat on its hilt. --- Kayden, However, was not so quick to pick his pokemon. Deciding was a bit difficult for him. Ralts and Beldum happened to be two of his favorites, even if he wasn't that fond of Ralts' second typing. He walked up to the pokeballs, not really sure of which one he should pick. Walking off to a less, noisy corner he released the pokemon in the pokeball. In a flash of light, A small Beldum appeared before him. The small pokemon seemed to let out a yawn. Maybe it had been sleeping. In any case, he knelt down next to the pokemon, and gave it a small pat on its head without saying anything. The Beldum seemed happy enough, and nuzzled kayden's hand with its head. "You need a name." He commented as the Beldum gave him a somewhat quizzical look. "Cobalt?" The Beldum seemed happy enough with the name, and Kayden left it at that, going back to the chair he had previously occupied and re-opened his book. Cobalt, being slightly curious as to what he was reading, perched himself next to Kaydens shoulder.
