As he passed the girl to face the plants he slashed at them horizontally as wide as his arm would let him. His sword bit into the one the girl just activated a skill on and left it in the red. Although he had missed all other monsters, to his surprise some halted their pursuit and chose him as the new target. Some four plants now slowly arched In an attempt to surround Kingetsu. Luckily this forced the other monsters to go around them, giving the girl a few more seconds to get to safety. "Can't do more than this..." he said more to himself as he faced his pending doom. As of now he was surrounded from all sides by plants and he dared not attack first as to not aggro the ones running past him. A few seconds later thou he was left with just six plants to dispose off.

"At least one of you is almost dead..." he said as he tried to slash at the severely wounded mob. The hit connected and he immediately rolled backwards to avoid the rest of the hits. Getting to his feet just in time to see the plant burst into pixels. Now, having downed one and facing the other three the job seemed no less impossible. The plants hit the place he was a few seconds ago, this gave him enough time to get in position to counter attack. Unleashing <Sprint> he went for the fat left plant, he slashed at it with his right hand. the hit chipped off more damage than expected due to the inertia given by running. Passing by them in a run, gave him a few moments to calculate his next move.

As he saw it, he had a just one chance to survive this encounter, he needed to keep moving. Move around and take pot shots at them. And that is what he was about to do, <Sprint> gave him the necessary boost to circle around the monsters.
