redwood can stretch out the strings between clothes to have them expand or contract at will. He can make them levitate, constrict others, make other things out of fabric, and control it. He can also attach sewing needles to clothes for double the fun. He cannot, however, make clothes magically appear out of thin air. 
[b]Personality:[/b] He's a clean freak. He might go out of his way to wash his clothes several times a day, panicking when they get dirty. Overall, for a freshman college fashion major, he's kind and down to Earth. When he gets into a battle, once immersed, he tends to ignore everyone else.
[b]Backstory:[/b] redwood lane never got to know his real parents and was adopted by two very dramatic lesbian women, anise and belinda. anise worked construction while belinda worked accounting. They named him redwood lane without capital letters because they despised the hierarchy and paternal dominance of capital letters. While belinda loved fashion, anise did not, and wouldn't allow belinda to buy anything fashionable. redwood sympathized with this mother belinda and would comfort her by talking to her about fashion. belinda would then sneak clothes into the house and hide them. As redwood explored fashion, he discovered his powers and talent. 
One day, anise rummaged through some stuff as she decided to do some housecleaning, coming across belinda's stash of clothes. In anger, she took the clothes and went to pursue belinda to punish her for what she's done. On anise's way to see belinda, redwood saw anise carry the clothes and went to confront her. 
"What are you doing? Get out of the way." anise sternly commanded redwood.
"I'm not going to let you hurt mom." redwood replied in a weak, nervous, fear-filled tone.
"This isn't your business." anise went to punch redwood in the shoulder when a scarf from the stash of clothes grabbed her arms and tied them behind her back. "What?! What is this? Let me go!"
"I can't let you hurt mom..." redwood sunk his head in embarrassment.
"redwood! Leave! I never want to see you again." anise yelled.
In self-examination and sadness, redwood left the house, the scarf letting go of anise and going back into the stash. He got kicked out of the house and never knew what came to happen with his two mothers. He would then try to apply for residency at Titans Tower and get a job there.
