You'll be shocked about a lot that people did and didn't do in their lives. :p

Than again your other points are right, this isn't just some survival match as much as it is people going to the more darker choices that have to be made to win. Stabbing others in the back, poison, traps and even just cold blooded to warm blooded murder are all also factors... some people can do, others people can't and mainly it's all about the choice to lose one's morals to win and survive against others who probably done the same thing as well to kill you. 

But by far I'm not going to say that I'd survive till the end, you'd be right if you said that that would be absurd. I'm just that I might survive a good sum of time if we all do the "Wait and survive till someone dies off" thing more so than the actual combat aspect... 

In truth though I do believe it would be Dervs to be the last man standing from it all. Either him or Walker, who I know also had some training in certain weapon usage and even crafts his own when given the proper materials.

EDIT: Another forgotten factor to take into consideration is that I highly doubt they allow guns in the Hunger Games... So that just adds more of a loss to most people who are used to only such. :/
