Donny Lee Yang - Arms Slave After finally calming down, Donny left his private booth with his hands in his pockets. He'd need to had to the infirmary to get them bandaged up. "It's been too long since I've gotten to punch something. I've gotten soft..." He mumbled to himself. He checked into the infirmary and made sure no one was around. He helped himself to using the school's gauze and balms before leaving with his hands wrapped up in clean white bandages. He had heard the announcement about how Deep Ground was going to be down until tomorrow, which made Donny a bit irritated. More so when the second part of the announcement came; that the black king wanted them to hunt down Corpse Collector. "Of course. Because obviously someone called Corpse Collector is suppose to be the main badguy of the first arc. And you had to go and think she was just another player. You knew she was bad news the moment she jumped on your car, and you just played along like a damn fiddle." Donny continued to speak to himself as he headed towards the kitchens. One thing he did when he wasn't on Deep Ground was cooking. Boy liked to eat, and he ate well. Purple Crown Academy did a good job at keeping their pantries well stocked and Donny was acquainted with the kitchen staff. He made himself something his mom taught him how to cook up. He didn't use much, just enough for him, and brought himself a bottle of soda. As he walked to a table to eat his mind lingered on many things. First was the Ebon Strykers. He wondered if the Black King saw him, in his last act before being forcefully logged off, trying to remove the kings. He doubt anyone but him saw it, and perhaps that was a good thing. No need to be hunted down by all the guilds for a single petty act of desperation. But than again, it's not as though the Black King was being friendly either. If Donny remembered correctly, the black king had his blade to the neck of the white king. He guessed there was some hostilities between them all. Donny was still wondering if it was worth trying to join up with the Ebon Strykers. While fighting was for certain, why did the Black King want them to just hunt down Corpse Collector? You'd think he'd want them to take over territories, not go on a man hunt. Donny could guess that Corpse Collector also wasn't just your average player, and since Donny couldn't get a read on her character classes and such, she was likely a hacker like the Erasers. For all he knew, she could be one. Corpse Collector was also another thing he thought about. Though Donny didn't know much aside from her name, it was obvious that she was using some program or hacks to hide her identity. She was probably using something else to give her teleporting powers as well, since she managed to get to and vanish from Donny without using any apparent skills that he's ever heard of. She was going to be a pain in the ass to deal with, and to that end he knew that he was going to have to find her. Not the character, but the player. He'd put out an Outlaw declaration on her if there hasn't already been one and look into what others have found so far later. Speaking of Outlaws, Donny had some more jobs. He got a call from some Erasers about setting an example to some players. It must have been serious as they want him to start some fires. They would reward him handsomely once Deep Ground starts up again, so he looked over the names of the targets, their home address, and their scheduled. As he was eating and reading his messages, a large group of students were causing a ruckus. Apparently someone just found a severed dog's head in their lunchbox. Donny smirked. Restu Goroshi - Dark Wraith Restu was multitasking furiously. She was on sight at Deep Ground Online HQ and was working as one of the system managers trying to figure out what was causing the irregular influx of Dissolutions. Of course, this was just a cover. What she was also doing was planting her own backpacking system into the Deep Ground Servers, as she often does to ensure that her cheats are always operational. For the casual observer what she was doing was applying game Patches. But she was also on the Purple Crown Academy forums working her secondary job as a board moderator. A lot of complaints about Deep Ground's crash caused a wave of players to flood the board with questions and complaints, which she dealt with as the system admin told her to. Around the same time Restu was using her moderator privilege to find out more about "Corpse Collector". She could guess that whoever she was, she would do her best to wipe all trace of her existence out from the system, but as they say: Once it's on the internet it's never going away. It was just a matter of finding the right archive before she got some information on Corpse Collector. However if Corpse Collector was anything like Restu, this information could very well be false in order to throw off anyone searching for her. Restu would need to consult the other Erasers to cross-examine her findings and ensure that Restu was targeting the right person. Not to say that Restu planned to take out Corpse Collector as soon as possible. Not one to let a crisis go to waste, Restu was already making more bugs and hacks to create various "Corpse Collectors" in the game. Restu planned to take advantage of Corpse Collector's status as public enemy to eliminate some Outlaws and other annoyances once the game starts up. These Corpse Collectors were basically Dissolutions in the shape of players; she'd have them stalk certain character and make their time online difficult, constantly attacking them while being functionally immortal. You wouldn't be able to defeat them; at best you'd escape them. She doubt they would last too long since someone would eventually catch wind of the bugged Dissolutions and patch them out, but since they were in the guise of Corpse Collector, the debuggers would looking for the eponymous player instead of her. It helped that all Restu was doing was making the code, and allowing her collaborators to actually figure out a way to insert into the game later on. There was one last order of business that Restu wanted to handle for today. After finishing what she had to do at the DGO HQ, Restu went to go find Moon Rider's player. She figured that it would only be a matter of time before they'd meet face-to-face, and the sooner the better. She wanted to talk to her about the hit on Corpse Collector and whatever else Moon Rider knows about the player. If she wanted her gone, Restu was going to need to know everything she can. There shouldn't be any secrets between them if they were to trust each other with their business and aspirations.
