Posted 2.2k words, I am sort of hoping Astral manages to track down Scalpel by encountering Scalpel's psychotic sphere-children, there is something darkly amusing about Astral having to follow them as they laugh and tell him how they are going to kill him if he is lying, whilst bickering about who gets his eyeballs. 

I am really looking forward to showing them off to Lens too, although they will doubtless be more friendly, if just as creepy.
