Abraham had arrived a little bit before everyone did and the first thing he did as soon as he arrived at the house was find a seat and started sketching. The island was beautiful and the house was gorgeous but he had been struck with inspiration on the flight and wasn't going to stop until everything was down. He smiled to himself as he started a rough sketch of the main character of his newest project and jotted some notes on the side. He couldn't believe he had made it this far, back when he was a kid he didn't have much of anything but a stupid dream, except for his friends of course. Shortly after high school he sold basically everything he owned just so he could self-publish and market his first book himself so he wouldn't have to owe some publishing company his soul. It was a huge gamble but it clearly paid off in the end, 4 very successful books already published and adored, a book and a graphic novel in the works, and most excitedly of all the very book that had started it all "A Girl named Ruin" was in talks for a movie. With his success the least he could do was help pay for the island so he could enjoy some time with his old friends. Now all he had to do was get out of work mode which was a lot easier said than done.
