An unpleasant encounter A collab between Mark, geri, Lilly and Roran
Killer rabbits and running fools.

Entering the next room with as much caution as the previous few, he inspected his new environments for any trace of danger, be it a trap, movement, a sound, a wave of killing intent or just his guts telling him that there was something wrong. So far so good, he thought and moved inside the next room, inviting the genins inside as he spread light inside. Arashi stayed beside Shisen as they moved very slowly into the next room, taking in all the different scents it had to offer and still nearly choking on the scent of rotted flesh. She did not like this place before and she certainly did not like it now even with its inhabitis dead or at least some of them. Taking a deep breath, she looked around the room and then to Kensuke-Sensei. Ezuri relaxed as there seemed to be no threat inside. checking their rear he didnt sense anyhting. No traps niether any chakra signatures were to be seen in the next room either. After the encouter with the bunnies and before it as well there was really nothing eventful. even theri first mission was more exciting. a bit dissapointed Ezuri sighted but stayed focussed as Kensuke went to open the next door, he hopen they would get some serious action soon enough. The doorway behind them suddenly made a slamming sound. It was like the wall itself decided to shut down the opening. Any sign of the doorpost was gone, replaced by a smooth metal wall. Slowly a sign was being shown on where the team had entered the room. Dark lines that resembled a certain Kanji. Death The grim sign wasn't the only change in the room. While the team could try to make a run for it, some soft sound was being heard. Like somebody was rotating something. Small opening at the ceiling opened, letting dirt fall into the room. If they would be silly enough to keep standing still, they would be burried alive. Frowning at the new developments, he quickly bursted into action. "Ezuri, what's up that hole? Shisen, Arashi, guard Ezuri." He commanded the genin as he stepped towards the previous door. A solid metal slab now had replaced the relatively thin metal door, impossible to cut through. The only way was forwards. He inspected the next door quickly as dirt started touching his ankles, forming a pile reminiscent of an hourglass inside the room. The only grim difference was that once this hourglass ran out, it would also end their lives. Shisen jumped at the sudden sound, spinning around as she stared wide eyed at the now closed off area and her hand twitched a bit from its trembling. Arashi, snarled and bared her teeth, not trying to be quiet in the least. "Please tell me, that we can get out of here now..." Shisen said, taking hold of her snarling ninken and taking another deep breath. The sudden slam of the 'death wall' made Ezuri flinch as the rotating sound was hurt and the dirt fellon his head his eyebrow started to twitch like it so occasionately did. He looked into the hole like he was offered, shielding his eyes from the dirt as best as he could "I cannot see around the edges because of the damn seals, but so far it seems like just a big storage room for the dirt" he looked back at Kensuke with his eyes begging him to get the next door open quickly "the storage is larger than this room... we need to move fast" even though he could see more than them, he felt blind with all these seals. Like their situation wasn't hectic enough, it would become even worse. Within the dirt, there was something slithering towards Kensuke. A slight killing intent would give away its presence, before more started to slither through the dirt. The creature tried to near the ankle of Kensuke's right leg, wanting to impale its venomous fangs into the limb of the young man. Warned by his acute senses he withdrew his leg and stomped down on the snake's head with destructive force. "Watch out! There's snakes inside!" He said, throwing a quick look inside the room. "Cover my back and take down any snakes you see." He ordered, and turned his attention back on the door. A short while later he managed to break open the lock, and opened the door. Arashi lashed out at the ground as it as it was revealed that there was snakes. Shisen narrowed her eyes, flaming killer bunnies and now angry snakes, what was next? She took out a kunai and prepared to strike at snake that was hungry for her flesh or Arashis, they could bite someone else. "This was a bad idea.." Shisen muttered under her breath. She noticed that Kensuke was working on the lock and began to inch her way towards him, still on guard. Ezuri saw the snakes before Kensuke mentioned them and already crushed ones throat when Kensuke managed to crush the skull of his first. Ezuri jumped over to his Sensei and performed a Kaiten to repel the snakes already close, he took out a kunai and started pinning snakes to the ground with them as good and bad as he could. The team seemed to have little trouble with the snakes. As the snakes had little trouble being killed. The hissing became worse as they started to reform after being destroyed. Tissue that moved back together, being controlled by some unseen force. At least for the naked eye. The snake that Kensuke had stomped on, was already reformed and about to plant his fangs, or rather attempting again, to bite the jounin. The same snakes that the genins were or haven taken out were doing the same. While the dirt kept filling the current and next room. "The next room aswell..." He muttered as his mind raced to solutions as he ran inside the next room, just in time as he felt the killing intent of the dead snake appear again, as it nearly bit his ankle again. He closed the door they just ran through and sealed it thight with some fire chakra and the flying sparrow technique, and then ran for the next door as more snakes and dirt rained from the ceiling. "Run over the ceiling guys!" He yelled and gave the example, so they wouldn't be slowed by the dirt as much nor attacked by the snakes as easily. The genin quickly followed his example, escaping the snakes who hissed at them in frustration. "Okay, the next door!" He yelled over the noise of the sliding dirt and, abandoning all pretenses of subtlety, turned the door into scrap iron and found himself in a pretty much identical room. Rushing over the ceiling again he took a quick stop at the hole where the dirt poured from, Coating his arm in wind chakra to keep it clear from any vicious serpents, he tried checking how thick the ceiling was. Perhaps the way out was up there, and not down here. A rather menacing sound was produced in the room where they had came from. More dirt and snakes were pushed into the current room of Team 7. Slowly large scales would be seen as something was trying to force its way into the room where Kensuke and his team was in. Meanwhile, both Shisen and Ezuri tried to stick close to Kensuke, but they had to keep an eye on the small snakes that on several ocassions tried to attack them. There was a bitter and frustrated look on Shisen and her ninken, as they kept trying to force the hostile reptiles back. Ezuri seemed to panic a bit. ''Kensuke-sensei, there is a huge one in the previous room!'' "Well, let's not wait for it to get over here." He replied, and hoped that the layer of dirt on the other side pressing down on the ceiling was about just enough to fill the room with. The ceiling had been some 25cm of steel, the thickness of a normal construction beam, and they hadn't ventured that deep into the bunker yet, so the room above could never contain a sea of dirt. Probably just enough to fill the rooms below. "Hold your breath and swim to the top." He yelled over the groaning and creaking of the metal walls as he coated both genin and the dog in chakra, and cut a second hole in the ceiling, launching them up. Darkness, dirt, dizzyness. Those were the words that summed up how he bursted through a fe meters thick layer of sand and dirt and landed on it moments later, in complete darkness. The chakra cloaking was all but dissapated as he got up, leaning against the wall as he recovered from the rapid loss of chakra, and resisted creating a fire. Ezuri could see in the darkness and Shisen could smell enough here, where the penetrating rotten flesh was diminished heavily by the atmosphere of moving dirt. Luckily their emergency escape most likely turned any snakes on their way up into mincemeat, buying them some time to recover. The genin quickly recovered from the shock, and started fending off some small and eager snakes as their sensei recovered. Ezuri was glad that it was so dark in here and that the others couldn't see how bleak he looked, while Shisen was only a tad more relaxed, finally being rid of that horrifying smell. It was eeriely quiet. There were some sounds from the way they had came up. ''It vanished..'' Ezuri mumbled, confused as he blinked several times. The place really was well secured against eyes like his. Shisen frowend as she looked over her shoulder. Her ninken was also quiet, but looking around as there was something still there. ''It didn't vanish.'' Shisen said, glancing at Kensuke. ''Sensei, I smell something.. odd.'' Her voice sounded weak, like she wanted to prevent to bring what ever was nearby to attack them. Rubbing his temple, Ezuri tried to flex his right shoulder. ''Maybe we should try to defeat it together?'' He suggested. ''Be my guest.'' A voice replied. It was nothing more than a calm and friendly whisper. Kensuke groaned softly as he got up, and he didn't need the genin to realize something was wrong. His guts could tell him that by now. Remembering that whatever they were fighting, it had more chances of being a rabbit or a snake than anything else, he created some light to see where they were. They gained more advantages than they lost with light, as snakes were pretty good without light, and rabbits... well, he had no idea. "I would rather not? Being your guest so far has been ... rather disconcerting so far." Kensuke replied to the soft voice, before it could spook out the two genin too much. Already they were backing off towards him, as no more snakes seemed to be coming. The ninken started to growl, lifting up her lips to reveal her canines. However both she and Shisen were looking around, trying to find out where their ''host'' was. There was the sound of a soft laughter before the unknown source replied back. ''It is a bit surprising that I would even have guests like you. We weren't expecting folk like you. Please forgive me for improvising.'' Ezuri jumped and turned around to the place where they had came from. ''Kensuke-sensei! The big one is coming! And fast!'' The boy sounded panicked and right after his warning, the ground they were standing on was trembling, an omen of the coming danger. "Stay. Calm." He replied, giving his words some power with a wave of, not quite true killing intent, but something that would convey that he was more than quite serious. He too felt the ground shaking and ignored that, walknig forwards a bit away from the genin, alert for any danger. "Improvisation? I would say that killer rabbits hidden in small hallways running besides every room is far from improvised." He replied, searching out for killing intent all the time. ''I dare say that it was better than using some other experiments on you and your students. My apologies that I haven't been able to make you bleed... more.'' The last word was spoken with a more harsh and hostile tone, the opposite to the friendly and polite one before. Shisen noticed through her sense of smelling that Kensuke had walked a bit away. Both she and Shisen also moved away, but more towards Kensuke. Ezuri looked at the hole, noticing that the big snake was having trouble of getting through the same opening. It was now literally trying to slam its way through. ''What are we going to do now?'' But after Ezuri had asked his question, their 'host' replied again. ''Die.'' "Well, at least we have clear instructions." Kensuke said, looking back and raising shis shoulders, before jumping forwards into the darkness. Putting on his earphone communicators he then created some clones before activating the camouflage technique on a few on them and himself. Snakes used heat-vision and smell to detect objects in darkness, so he would just have to make sure that the chakra cloack taking care of the camouflage would also disguise his heat signature and ofcourse smell. "Stay together. Do everything you can to keep the snake stuck in there if it manages to get through. Beware for a second threat." He ordered, having one of his visible clones scout through the hole. Licking her lips, Shisen remained quiet as did her ninken. Ezuri moved back as well and took a stance. The darkness wasn't a problem for him and he could see his opposition now. Only then he was blinking again with his eyes. ''It vanished again.'' The boy said, surprised. Shisen felt uncomfortable as she confirmed it. ''Yes, and who ever was with it, too. What now?'' She asked. "We wait untill it bursts through the ground most likely." He answered, letting his clones spread across the room and awaiting the smallest spark of killing intent. Their opponent mightn't know, but the moment it had ordered them to die, it had sent out a wave of fierce killing intent that Kensuke could use to track it down with. Getting a bit impatient, the ninken started to growl. Shisen wondered what they would do now. Ezuri also remained silent as they waited. Only there was really nothing more nearby. ''Sensei, everything is gone. There is only dirt down. Even the small snakes are gone.'' Ezuri said. "Well then. Carry on with the mission." He replied, and scouted the room for any doors. He had a slight problem with going down there again, as the rooms were now completely filled with dirt down below. Following their sensei, the genin and ninken were silent. Like their sensei they were searching for any way to get out of their current situation. ''Sensei, there are some trails in the dirt that go the other way.'' Ezuri mentioned, hoping it would be helpful. Leading the genin towards the trails he realized it was their only way out of this mess. "Well, let's follow these for a start." He decided, and marched along the tracks. Following the tracks, with the help of the genin, the team however found a way out. Just when they exited the place, the ground started to shake. Shisen instantly threw a look at Ezuri. ''Nothing is approaching us. Seems it came... Where is Team 2?'' Ezuri asked, frowning as he thought about it. "They're not here." He replied, just before spotting an exit. "It only looks grimy. Trust me." He said, pointing towards a hole in the walls lined with shedded serpent skin. Climbing through he went ahead as point-man again, leading the genin into the darkness. ''But shouldn't we not help them out? What if they are in need of help?'' Ezuri asked, confused that Kensuke didn't seem to be really worried about the other team that had participated in the mission with them. Shisen simply kept up a calm and rather neutral expression on her face. "Kiyomi is a jounin of Konohagakure, just like I am. This indicates that she is at least as good as I am, if not better. Worrying about her now is senseless. We can't help her, and she knows what she's doing." He said on a strict tone, shutting off any more responses. He had seen Kiyomi invest some time into Ezuri, but he was not quite sure what to think of their relation amongst eachother. Personally he saw Kiyomi as a little sister almost, and ofcourse he worried about her. But letting that rule his train of thoughts would only be unhealthy for himself. The answer of his sensei made Ezuri open his mouth. He wanted to react back, to argue about it. How could he think so easily about this? She didn't seem so tough like Kensuke-sensei did. But Shisen then beat him to it. ''Ezuri, stop. If Kensuke-sensei says she is as good as he is, then just believe it.'' She sounded annoyed and she was. Getting out of this place was what she wanted. Ezuri closed his mouth as he decided he couldn't do anything if he even wanted. The ground started to shake again. The floor behind them even seemed to lower a bit. ''Did anybody just... see that?'' Feeling the vibrations rattling through his bones, he knew something was going on down there. Something big. The moment he felt the floor shift, he realized that whatever was holding up this part of the complex had just been demolished. "Run." He said, looking behind him where the extremely heavy chambers filled with dirt sent a painfully loud creaking sound of metal down the hallway along with more vibrations that set the entire thing in motion. "Run, you fools!" He yelled as the genin stared at what was behind them, and he gave the right example. The genin managed to follow the example of their sensei. Running after him, Ezuri squinted his eyes. ''Sensei! There is an exit to the outside. Right after this corner!'' Ezuri said, glad that he could see an exit. Shisen however made a groan. ''It smells here like.. snake.'' She mumbled, trying to see any signals of the huge snake they were talking about earlier. "Well I heard snake is edible." He replied, running around the corner as in the distance the floor started giving away to the depths below. Not quite the dramatic escape from a crumbling floor as you tended to see in movies, Kensuke mused, but close enough for him. Rounding the corner he tried picking up killing intent again as he ran into what probably was another ambush. Running into ambushes, his favorite job. ''Finally, a way out!'' Ezuri smiled, trying to run faster towards the exit. The light from the outside world looked so promising. With the team running towards it, there would be a soft whisper. ''Going somewhere?'' Though the team was running towards the exit, the whisper came from the back. Out of the shadows behind them, a person, shrouded and concealed mostly in the darkness, glared at their backs.
