Are you really going to trust this fraud to do something like that? Trust a real alchemist (who may or may not try and give you the wrong potion)

Well they don't have the flair of a monteback. However, I know your work, and you do a fine job at it.

This is true. There is much tension between the two, and it will later unfold as a massive plot point.

Currently on wikipedia researching whether or not someone can get jilted by a crossbow, just in case I create a paradox.

Ah, I've got an idea, Vec, Professor!
Perhaps one of you should make what we call a "placeholder" post? And edit the entire collab into it later when we're done?
I don't think it affects any characters but ours, and if it will, they'll be notified (obviously!)
Juuuust so Bing can keep the story moving if they so desire.
