Ava was just putting on her coat when her father walked in, asking if they were ready to go off flying. Smiling she nodded, "I think we're ready. Let's go." She walked outside and laughed slightly when she saw Blizzard kicking up the snow and the dragon managed to hit her with a face full of it, "Hey!" She laughed more, leaning down and picking up a handful of it, patting it into a round ball before throwing the snowball at her dragon, laughing more. Smiling she walked over to him and patted his side, "When this flight is over we can have some more fun in the snow, okay? Maybe build a snow man? Or have a snowball fight with Calder and the others?" With those suggestions out there, she climbed up onto his back, scratching behind his ear before they took off into the skies. She was glad she had dressed warmly because today the winds left a cold bite on what parts of her skin wasn't covered and the snow still continued to fall down from the skies. When she looked over to her parents it was suprisng to see that her other did indeed ride her dragon without a saddle. But then again, so did Ava. It was just the way her mother did it so easily, while Ava herself sometimes struggled to stay on at certain angles of flight. Her mother even, when seeing her daughter was watching, smiled and stood up on her dragon's back, walking across the wings of her dragon and onto the back of a nearby Nadder. She did this a few times and on a few dragons, even at one point on Toothless's back, kissing her father with a silent laugh before getting back onto Aurora's back and sitting down. Ava could only hope one day she was as great a rider as her parents were. She smiled down at Blizzard, "We need to practice flying more, don't we?"
