Casual Mode
Personality: There is noone more enthusiastic about upholding order and Justice then Forge. It's just that he considers himself a knight loyal to the cause of his demon master overlord (which actually doesn't exist) rather then anything noble. He is crafty and can think on his feet, it's just that outside of combat Jason is as boring as it gets. He craves the rush of fighting and action so much, and as far as he can tell evil is the most efficient way to do that. In reality he is just a psychotic role player who was given powers and a good excuse to take his fun way too far. Skills: -Skilled at wielding most medieval weaponry. Axes, swords, spears, even lances, he has practiced and perfected. But he couldn't wield a gun to save his life. In fact giving him a gun would be more of a danger to himself then anyone else. -Excellent blacksmith. He can make just about anything out of metal, and with the assistance of his powers he has everything he needs to work with. -A sadistic attitude and a very expansive vocabulary. He really does make a convincing 15th century warrior. Abilities: -Forge has fire powers. When he makes contact with an open flame, his entire body will burn and become a mass of flame, the remnants of human flesh and bone missing entirely. He can do the usual; breath fire, set things on fire, burn people. What's interesting about his abilities is that not only does it give him control over flames, but control over molten substances. He can use his heat to turn a metal bar into slag, then bend and shape the metal at will to make it become a sword, or just about anything so long as he has enough materials to work with. -Part of the reason he dons himself in armor is to look cool. The other reason is that when he ignites, he has the same limitations as a match. He can be put out, and would need to be reignited in order to use his powers again. He uses armor to shield his burning self to keep his fire going like a furnace, because exposing his bare flames can be risky. He can make the steel armor so hot that water will evaporate to the touch, which is helpful in those situations. Without his armor, he can be quickly put out and dealt with. Another thing to note is that Forge is limited by the amount of raw materials he has access to. Without enough steel he will need to fight with his core exposed, which puts him at a disadvantage. Separate him from his metals and he will be crippled. Equipment: -His equipment is always changing, but he always keeps an iron bar's worth of steel on him at all times when he can shape and form into whatever he needs. -Matches. For setting himself on fire mostly. Sometimes he might even set other things on fire. Brief Backstory: Jason was a huge nerd for DnD growing up. He made a few friends that shared his interests and enjoyed himself like good kids. His friends, being the well adjusted human beings they are, understood it was a game and would put it to rest. But Jason was always obsessed with his Chaotic Evil character ForgeBorn and wished he could become a crazed knight in shining armor. Take one freak accident involving a chemical fire, the development of fire based super powers and you have a recipe for child's play becoming adult mayhem. His DnD character didn't have fire powers at all but Jason decided to improvise on that part.
