Evera observed another girl enter the bus and gave a friendly smile, honestly thankful she wasn’t going to be the only female among the students. Perhaps they could get along and talk about things she wouldn’t be able to with the male students. Evera was pondering these things as the ghost boy who had been talking to her went to the front of the bus. She settled in more comfortably once again, a content if sleepy look on her face as she memorized his name, as she would everyone’s. When he said he was to watch over them, she thought it a bit strange, as she suspected she was older than he was, but she had no idea really. Ah, Mai was the other girl’s name. Evera looked to the back of the bus and smiled at the girl before looking forward once more, listening again to Taiyo. She wouldn’t mind him keeping a watch over her. In fact it might be rather nice. Her job was to be guarding everyone else’s souls now and again, so it didn’t hurt to have someone watching hers. She cooperatively said “Present” when called upon.
