After passing by my shelf and seeing it staring at me, I also need to raise my hand in favor of Tactics. When people ask me which FF games to play, I usually never think of Tactics, but it consistently ranks as one of my favorite strategy games or strategy RPGs.

Pretty much what Foxxie and the other guys said.

When it comes to my favourite Final Fantasy Game boils down to 8 and 6, very easily. 8 has a very interesting system you learn, which to me gives it some depth(I personally found it rather easy to understand). Ofcourse Final FantasyVI wins in terms of characters and story.

So apparently FF III got a remake so it's 20 bucks, where as FF VII is only 10. Think I'm gonna get VII.

Yeah, as much as I liked FFXIII, it is a horrible indicator of the franchise as a whole.

Well I'd rather pay 10 dollars for the 16 year old original game than 20 dollars for a 3d remake of a 20 year old game.

Final Fantasy XXVII is pretty good. You play as a person with a troubled past but eyes to dream for, fighting through the world with your unrealistically large weapon and a pair of hot pants, falling in love with people in your party not two weeks after promising the people of the land that you'd do anything to help them, spending precious sleeping time making sighs and girly fem grunts while you have stammering, intense awkward silence ridden conversations.

Then she dies and you go back to the future.
