"Hurry the hell up and put the money in the bag!" Yelled the masked man wielding an assault rifle, it being pointed at the woman behind the counter. The bank was washed over a fear induced silence, the only sounds being the yelling of the gunman and the hushed whimpers of the teller as she fumbled to fill the bag with money. "Come on Mack the police are already on their way!" Shouted the other masked man, armed with a 9mm pistol, who stood watch at the door. "Shut up Larry, I know that already!" The masked man, now known as Mack, blasted back at his partner, Larry. The teller then handed the duffle bag, her hands shaking with fear, to the man who still had his rifle pointed dead at her. Mack greedily at grabbed the bag. "Bout damn time!" He shouted at the teller before a cruel laugh escaped from his mouth. "But I have to launch a complaint about your service." He said, with a wicked tone in his voice, while pointing the rifle at the teller's head, moving his finger to the trigger. But just before he could fire the doors of the bank quickly, but silently, flew open and a dark haired boy, dressed in a black vest shirt and pants, strolled in with his head slightly cocked to the side. "What the hell, Larry how'd he get in here?!" Mack screamed and moved his attention away from the teller, who looked as if she was about to be sick. "I-I don't know? He j-just appeared out o-of thin air." Larry stammered as pointed he pointed his pistol at the new arrival. "It doesn't matter! Well kid it looks like you walked into the wrong place at the wrong time, but look on the bright side you're already dressed for your funeral." Mack laughed as he readied his rifle to fire at the boy. A small smirk appeared on the boy's face before he quickly raised his hand towards Larry, sending a series of black strings that wrapped around the hand that held his gun. "W-what the hel-" Was all he could blurt out before the boy pulled the strings bringing the man forward and crashing his face into the boy's knee. Larry slumped to the floor with a moan but made no movements. Mack was shocked for a moment before raising his rifle again, his hands beginning to shake slightly. "You little shi-" Again before the man could finish his sentence the boy gestured his hand forward sending another set of black strings forward, this time they wrapped around the man's legs. The boy pulled and sent the man to his back, a loud thud ringing through the room, before walking over him. The man was in a daze, giving the boy a chance to send the rifle across the room with the wave of a hand. "Ah... you little bastard! Do you know what I'm going to do to you?! I'm gonna..." But Mack was cut off by the boy moving his finger to his lip(his own lip) and Shhing him. Mack was surprised for a moment before the boy brought his foot to the Mack's face leaving him out cold. The boy bound the men back to back to a light pole out side before disappearing into the night. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Seamus walked through the dark streets of Opal city, his vest and dress pants making him stick out among the thuggish people he passed by. Despite how unintimidating the boy seemed everyone he passed stirred clear of him, some flinching as he looked at them. There was murmurs as he strolled along, some containing harsh words while others being praises to Seamus, but the word that was used in each hushed conversation was Whisper. The name that stuck with the young vigilante for his lack of speaking. Seamus was half way to his house before he noticed a white rabbit sitting on the sidewalk in front of him, he smirked some as he causally strolled after the small hare as it hoped into a near by ally. "You know you could just call like a normal person?" Seamus said with a slight laugh in his tone as he addressed the dark haired woman picking up the rabbit. "Where's the showmanship in that?" The woman said as she put the rabbit into her top hat and placed it on top her head. Seamus rolled his eyes and leaned on the near by wall. "So what is it Zatanna? Another demon possession?" He asked making sure his eyes not to stray from the woman's. Zatanna shook her head with a soft smile on her face. "No not this time Seamus. I'm actually here about the offer, have you thought it over?" She asked while arching a brow. Seamus recalled the offer she had gave him a few weeks ago, to join a team of young crime fighters like him, and how he asked for time to think it over. He was never to good with people his own age, not having any real friends at his school, so the thought of working with them constantly put him off some. He recalled the robbery from earlier and how good he felt beating those thugs into submission. Seamus gave a small smile before getting off the wall. "Yeah I did and... yeah. I can't see why not." Zatanna grinned before she spoke. "Great! You won't regret this Seamus I swear." She pulled out a piece of paper from thin air and hand it to Seamus. "Head here when you're ready. You'll get Zetaed to the rest of the team." She smiled before ruffling the boys hair. "See you around Seamus." She then took a bow and vanished. Seamus shook his head and headed out of the ally back towards home, putting the paper into his pocket. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ "Boogie's back!" Were the words that greeted Seamus as he walked through the frount door of his family's appartment, which was on the top floor of a tweleve story building. He quickly let out a sigh as his little sisters quickly came and tackled him with a hug, a normal occurence but still killed his dangerous vigilante mood rather quickly. "Did you fight any bad guys?" Sarah asked her green eyes lighting up. "Ohh ohh, were you the one that stop that bank robbery?" Sophie chimed in before Seamus could answer Sarrah. The two girls were identical in every way one could think of, from their curly red hair to their slightly up turned noses. Seamus gave a small smile as he had to pry his sisters off him. He answered the questions as he headed towards the kitchen and grabbed a sandwich from the fridge that was wrapped in plastic with a sticky note with the words "For Seamus love mom" written on it. As he ate the girls decided to tell him about every detail about their day, a form of torture Seamus wouldn't wish on his worst enemy. "Oh and then we... Seamus you know you're still wearing that right?" Sarah broke off from her story to point Seamus' clothes. "Egnahc ym setholc." Seamus spoke between bites then his clothes quickly shifted to a plain black T-shirt and jeans. The girls giggled, as they always loved to see their big brother using magic, before continuing their story. After he was done eating Seamus told his sisters how he was going to be part of a new team of heroes and they nearly blew out Seamus' ear drums with their squeals. At which point he moved himself to his room. It was a small room with three of the walls painted pink, save for one plane white one, that had a set of bunk beds with pink sheets on onside of the room and a single bed with black sheets, it pushed up against the white wall of the room. Seamus made his way to his bed, stepping over a mine field of dolls, and collapsed into it, quickly passing out. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Seamus woke up early the next day, have been dreaming of his new team the whole night, and quickly got himself ready. He showered, brushed his teeth and sat down with his family for breakfeast. "Are you sure about this Seamus? You know how the league can be." His dad said over his cup of coffie. "Oh, you're only saying that because of that time the Flash kicked your butt dad." Sarah and Sophie said in unison, giggling as they ate their cereal. Though he scolded the girls for a moment Richard turned his attention back to Seamus. "Yes Da I'm sure I want to do this." Seamus said after finishing his breakfast, which was a egg and two pieces of toast. After breakfast Seamus gathered his things, mostly just his books that he kept in his satchel, said goodbye to his family, having to force his sisters to let him go, and headed to the Zeta Beam that Zatanna told him about. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ "Recognized, Whisper C05." Seamus walked into the cave expecting to see a large squad of superheroes but found three other teenagers like him, something he was grateful for. Don't have to deal with the league just yet. he thought to himself as he walked over to the group of kids already gathering. He gave a small smile to them before holding up a peace sign and saying. "Greetings."
