It's a bad habit of mine. 

I tend to cut everyone's jokes off at the knees.

Back at the topic at hand, though, hopefully it all works out well for you MD, and it shows that you've got a good strength of mind to be able to stay light hearted in what must be a fairly trying time for you. Stay strong, resilient, and come back and show 'em all that you can outrun the best of 'em.
