"Waaaah!"

Smitten Kitten was running as fasts as her character could, jumping across gaps and running on ledges, all to escape the Dissolutions on her tails. Her Sticky Runes were very helpful for this, but she could only use them so many times before they were put on cool-down and she didn't have a lot of skills with mobility. She had been following the truck with the two players in it but the sheer mass of Dissolutions chasing them forced Smitten Kitten to find her own way to chase them, which only served to get herself chased as well. She did moderately okay trying to run across the rooftops, but only if conditions were right, such as the caps being five-feet apart or there being an open window of some sort on the floor below she could land through. Sometimes she'd use her Explosive Runes to boost her jumps, but she learned that all it did was attract unwanted attention.

One such unwanted admirer was a large bird-like Dissolution. It kept swooping down at her but she was able to dodge it. But if more Dissolutions show up it'll be harder for her to focus on dodging the bird while also avoiding everyone else. But she had an idea. Smitten Kitten ran to a large roof area near the end of the block. She was effectivly trapped, with no way to go back back where she went. The Bird Dissolutions knew this, and so did she. Smitten Kitten created one more Sticky Rune and waited for the bird to come swooping down. When it did, instead of dodging she jumped up and grabbed the bird's lag. In a turn of events, she actually managed to pull the bird down just a little, enough for it to activate the stick run and get stuck. After that Smitten Kitten created a series of Explosion Runes and did big chucks of damage against the Bird Dissolution, but she didn't kill it. When it was low on health she used her Befriend skill on it and it became her ally. 

Now with a flying creature Smitten Kitten had a way to avoid most of the Dissolutions. All she needed to worry about now was other flying Dissolutions, but she was more interested in tailing the truck. To her surprise she found it being driven across the roof tops. But down below, she could also see another familiar person, Corpse Collector. "Hey, I wonder what they're up to..." Smitten Kitten stayed in the skies and watched, waiting for the right moment to jump in.
