For some reason Thomas had a feeling that the answer he got was the one he should have expected. God forbid a villain act simply because they felt like it. For something like this, he had to have some sort of ulterior motive. Thomas would just have to figure out what it was before the rest of his plan went into motion. "Well, I certainly wouldn't know," he replied sarcastically. "It's not like I'm talking with a wellspring of information here, giving an exaggerated throwing up of his hands in exasperation. "I'd say you're lucky I even listened to you, Mystery Man." This was true, at least from his perspective. How was he to know the other tricks the man was playing with the darkness in his body?
