Phil was dazed and confused. His body took over his mind. Phil picked himself off the ground feeling blood drip down his face. He felt as if he was a target at that point. Phil needed a second pair of eyes to look at the wound to understand to repercussions of the attack the vampire had. Phil assumed the would would scar over, but he pressed the matter out of his mind and looked for a place to run. He had a few options. Go with Rand or go with Connor...Or better yet run off by himself. The last option would probably be better... "after all I don't want to depend on anyone while injured." Phil said to himself. "Why do people depend on each other? In the end you're on your own...Like I am now.. I have all the skills I need to survive. I can do this." Phil started to run towards the woods a bit to the right of Connor and Paige; however, his actions started to conflict with his true beliefs. "That's a lie. I don't know anything. I'm confused. How can I do this? Someone tell me... Someone...? So I'll end up having to work with others after all..." Phil sighed and ran towards Connor and Paige carrying a man on their shoulders.

"Where's Rand?" He heard Paige asked. 

"Forget about him for the time being. We need to focus on getting this guy out alive." Phil motioned to the man on their shoulders. "Then, we can find Rand if you so desire. Plus, the guy seems to be able to handle himself." Blood was dripping into Phil's eyes. He wiped his face. "I'll go ahead and try to find a place for us to hide for a bit. You'll be slower carrying this guy. I'll be back to find you. If I don't come back in twenty minutes, assume I am dead for some uncanny reason and go the other way." 

Phil didn't wait for a reply from any of them. He hauled off looking for a place to lay low. Phil ran deeper and deeper into the woods wiping his face of the blood every once and awhile. Soon Phil came to an opening from the vast amount of trees he had been running past. He spotted a small cave opening up a small path. It looked barley big enough for a person to fit through. Phil decided to act upon his finding. "Better than nothing" he said to himself. He started to run back the way he came. After a little while he found Paige and Connor carrying the man. "Cave...A little bit into the forest..." Phil said panting "Let's move"
