Three men were at the head of a ship, the wind blew of the early morning breeze. The chill ran up their backs but not because of some wind, no, chill ran up their backs because someone had to wake the captain up. They looked at each other frantically, deciding. In the end they had chosen that they'll all go, what's the worst that could happen right? As they walk through the partially destroyed ship, avoiding rubble and broken wood, they arrived to the captain's quarters. The door was blown away almost a couple hours ago, they sneaked in as quiet as humanly possible until they all lined up in front of a table. Their sat the captain, leaned back in his chair, feet up on the table and his purple hair covering his eyes. They shoved each other until the young man in the finally chose to woke him up. "C-C-Captain, Loguetown is, is in view n-now." In an instant the captain shot up, blade in hand and cut, all in one transparent motion. The two men on the sides stepped back as they watched their comrade grasp his neck. His body falling to the floor in a lump. The captain licked the blood off his sword and sheathed it. He looked up at the other two, "How many does that make?" No one responded. He asked again "I said, how many does that make!?" The two man were frozen in fear. "Well, yesterday we had 30 men, we lost 26, Including him that's 27, So we have 3 left, including you Edge, I mean Captain." Edge walked passed the two men and wondered outside. The wind blew calmly as they sailed towards Loguetown. The ship anchored down and Edge jumped off the front, turning into a smoke cloud and landing safely on the shore. He looked to his left to see the strangest thing. It was a man blasting the water and leaping towards the shore. How odd? He looked around somemore, a lot of people were in a crowd. Edge thought that the rumors may not be true but they are indeed. Wait, does that mean the marines have heard them as well. This day may actually be interesting. He continued to look around and saw yet another strange thing. Someone talking to a ship. This place is just too weird. Edge put his hands in his pocket and wandered off into the crowd. Wandering through the crowds he had heard plenty of people talking about wanting to join a pirate crew, hmmm, how could he turn this to his advantage. He found out the biggest crowd was around Gold Rogers platform. Edge had an idea. Disappearing into smoke he ran along the ground and made it pass everyone. He reformed his body on top of the platform and shot a flintlock pistol in the air, getting everyone's attention. Edge scanned the crowd, people whispering and giving him looks. Edge gained his voice and spoke out loud and clear, "Ladies and gentleman. I Edge Mallor, have heard all your requests and i will grant them to you.' When people heard his name some people grabbed their weapons. "If you want adventure, collect bounty's, revenge and to rule the seas. Then join my crew, The Sea Devils. If you wish to join my crew, I'm by that ship over there. But know this, if you are not with me, prepare for a slaughter."He gave a wicked smile followed by a sinister chuckle and then in an instant he was gone again. Back to the shore.
