History: Originally hailing from the Foggy Swamp, Jacque was a kid known by his tribe for his highly inquisitive nature, impressive aptitude for adaptation, and natural ability to get himself into all sorts of trouble. Unfortunately for Jacque -then nine at the time-, it was that last trait that nearly cost him his life when, in an attempt to frighten a few of his friends as a joke, he ended up losing an arm to a large catgator that mistook him for prey. Jacque managed to survive the ordeal, however, he found it hard to acclimate to life in the swamp with just one arm, that is, until he began learning how to water bend. With a combination of seven years of teaching from many members of his tribe, and ingenuity, Jacque learned how to not only precisely bend small amounts of water for days at a time, but fashion it into a false limb to compensate for his missing arm. It wasn't long before a then sixteen year old Jacque decided that he wanted to see everything the world had to offer and struck out on his own to experience everything first hand. He's been traveling like this for three years now, and is currently making preparations for a pit stop in New Ba Sing Se.

Personality: Jacque is a fairly mellow, flexible, and friendly individual who regards everyone he's on good terms with like family, though his habit of making the occasional snide comment can land him in hot water if he doesn't reign it in. When using his water bending for offensive purposes, Jacque believes that the best way for a water bender to fight is wearing his opponents down by redirecting or dodging blows while attacking with a series of small-but-numerous blows before delivering a large blow as the coup de grâce.
