Kurama Location: Main Plaza Finishing off a steak and a big drum stick of meat, he concluded his 9th plate of food. Leaning back in his seat, he rubbed his belly as a sign of satisfaction. "Been so long since I've had a good meal" Reaching for his bottle of alcohol, he realized it was empty, much to his disappointment, he ordered one more. When it was brought to him, he guzzled it down as the others looked on in shock and awe. "You make it seem like you've never seen food or drink before" one of the servers observed with a laugh. Returning that comment with a chuckle of his own, "It's actually not an all that wrong assessment. My food went bad at sea almost a week ago and as for something to drink, all there was was sea water! And can't really drink that...though I was highly tempted I'll tell you that." he finished with another laugh. "A week?!" The servers looked shocked. Wiping his mouth, "Yea, there was just no way to hunt for food. I had no fishing equipment so I went hunting and stocked up on meat on the last island but I had no means of preserving the meat and they ended up spoiling. Not to mention it took forever to see sights of another island, I was lucky to arrive here when I did!" He went to reach for his wallet and that's when he heard it, and not only he but everyone has to have heard it, it was so loud, a loud siren echoing everywhere. It had to mean only one thing, the marines were finally making their move. It really was no surprise they'd come, word spreads fast. You'd think such a fact as a bunch of pirates flocking to the town of the beginning and the end would not attract the marines attention? If the pirates heard it than its only natural they too would hear it. Standing up, "Well, seems like it's all about to begin" Taking out his wallet, he opened it, only to be left speechless. He ate and drank a few thousand beli worth of food and drink and was about 400 beli short. But, fortunately a group of 3 pirates came looting and was demanding to the proprietors to give them food or else. Why was it fortunate you say? Scratching his head, he walks up to the group of pirates. "I'm sorry, I seemed to have come up a few beli short on my meal and wanted to ask if you had a spare change." he finished with a kind smile. However, the pirate didn't return the kindness and punched him in the gut as the other three laughed. "Hah. Look at his clothes, a begger." the presumed leader of the pirates takes a closer look at Kurama's swords and continued speaking, "Those are some nice looking swords, give them to me and we'd think about it. Whahahah!" looking at his companions as they started laughing as well. "Oh? Kurama looked on with an amused expression. Slowly pulling Kurenai out, the katana he uses when not being serious, using the back hand of the blade, sweeps the pirates legs and jams the hilt of the sword into the gut of the second and shoves him into the third. Stomping on the leaders kneecap to stop him from getting up, he throws the second pirate into the wall, who landed head first, knocking him out before walking towards the third. Kurama, slightly raising his sword as the pirate prepares by starting to draw his, pulls back by swapping the sword to his left and punches the pirate. With a knee to the face, the pirate crumples to the ground before muttering "Y---ou ch--t" Reaching down and stealing a few beli bills from the pirate, he laughs. "And you call yourself a pirate! Consider it a life lesson, prepare for anything! Not everyone will come at you with their swords." he says calmly to the pirate, who has long since passed out. Kurama then walks over to the proprietors and hands them the money for his meal. "Sorry for the mess." he said apologetically. Raising his hand, the owner says with a laugh. "No need at all! We get more than our fair share of pirates, this is Loguetown after all. The starting point for all pirates." The old man says with a sense of pride before looking a bit disappointed. I wonder.....was he a p..... "Anyways son, taking a look at your clothes and the fact I've never seen you before, it's safe to assume you're not from these parts, hm? The place will be flooded with Marines soon, it's best if you get out of here as soon as possible. Though," he said while gathering a few of his things and leading his daughter, one of the servers to one of the back doors before taking a last look at Kurama with a smile. "You have no intention of leavin, don't you?" Returning the smile, he headed out onto the street as the proprietor did the same. Let's see....where would be a good place to... Disrupting his train of thought was the sight of a vicious yet attractive woman who was accompanied by a strange looking man. Isn't that.... ".... Alice 'Blood Splatter' Bathory? A somewhat known name like hers is here in loguetown, eh? Been hearing her name a bit on the nearby islands. Hm... That must mean her escort is the "Pirate Executioner” Cheshire. Hm..." Deciding to follow them, he ends up around the executioner platform. There was a strange young man, who upon making some sort of recruitment pitch, seated himself on the platform and than he noticed a familiar sight climbing the platform. That shrimp from earlier.... Sensing this was the perfect place to be when they flooded in, he readied himself. Looking into the swirling mass relaxed with a smile, "I wish they'd hurry up."
