Also, towards the end of my post, the unused firewood could actually represent the first time that someone ventured into the place and didn't return. That could've been years ago, too. =P Maybe the place is actually haunted by the person who was first killed that by evil force that was originally hiding in there? *thinking of interesting plot things lol*
