Edge sighed as Path fell asleep. Casting a glance to the eggs, the human bit his lip. He didn't know how he was going to take care of them until Path woke up. Maybe he could incubate them somewhow. He could smother them in blankets. Or maybe put them in the oven for a bit. No! That would kill them. Edge gulped. Taking care of the eggs would have to come first. But they were dragon eggs. Edge recalled attacking a colony once. He had hurled some eggs off a cliff, and they survived. Grunting, the human hoiseted Path on his back and carried him to theier bedroom, where he promptly deposited the dragon. After making sure he looked comfortable on the bed, the violet-eyed boy skipped back to where the eggs were. He leaned down to lay one hand on each. "Daddy loves you..." He soothed. For now, he would just rub his palms on the shells. Skylark heard something. A voice. He didn't understand what Edge was saying, However, he still liked the sound. He was warm, from his brother's kind of thoughts. Perhaps it was possible they could communicate because they were brothers. Twins. At any rate, Skylark sent, 'Daddy'. It was an odd thought, and he didn't know what it meant. But it just felt right.
