Annabeth Gulch Annabeth turned to see Aramir. Aside from her name and that she was a little elf, that's about all Annabeth knew about the girl. "No... Not really. But how hard can it be, right?" Annabeth nervously chuckled. She really hoped someone here knew how to operate the weapon, as the best Annabeth knew how it'd work was that one of those levers underneath fires the balista and that she should have it aimed in the general direction of the roc, should they face it. And even that was just an estimated guess. "Hopefully we don't need it. At least the wagon seems sturdy enough to handle getting beaten around by a roc." Soon another, more familiar face showed up. Colette was a friend of Annabeth's, albeit not one that she meets up with as often as she'd like. Colette seemed to be a rather solitary girl, but hopefully this outing would allow the vampire to open up a little. Granted it's full of danger and everyone should be very careful, but they could still find time to get to know one another somehow. "Hi Colette. If you're here, than we're only missing two more people. Auriel and Liam, I think." Annabeth got onto the wagon and examined the basista, trying to get an idea of how to operate it.
