Henry Olin

"You what?" Henry said, looking incredulously at Codi. Seeing if someone could breath underwater was no easy feat and went against just about every instinct the human mind had. A clash of instincts never ended up well, at least from his experience. "That's a terrible idea." Henry said back, his tongue flicking out of his mouth and smelling the air. "But I cant exactly stop you. I'll be in the water to save him if he needs me. Be warned, Ms. Bailey, if Atticus is injured or gets into a bad situation through this, it will be on you." Henry said, before looking ahead. "Karlie, hop off. We're approaching the waterfall." He said. When Karlie was off, they did not stop, but approached the waterfall's edge. It was easily a fifty foot drop, and the water below would be clear if there wasn't so much white water. It was a lush enviornment around the falls, and aquatic life could be seen moving through the water. Small brim and other freshwater fish. Nothing that could even remotely cause a threat. "Well everyone," Henry said, turning around to face the group that had been following him. "Only way down if gravity!" He said, before allowing himself to fall backwards off the ledge and down the falls head first. He turned mid air and fell in a more dive like fashion, and hit the water with an average sized splash for his size. However, Codi's plan had sparked his own evil side, and he did not resurface. Water flooded into his wetsuit, but instead of him beginning to drown, he ehaled underwater, allowing the carbon dioxide in his lungs to exit and for his skin to begind absorbing oxygen from the water around him. He exhaled regularly. It was like having built in scuba gear. His body's third eyelid covered his eyes to allow a pair of built in goggles. Of course, he was under the white water, so none of the students above him could not see him. The stage is set, now to see how they would react. --- Ben Voss, "Pink" Vincigarru, Abraham Gene, Shannon Balore, & Deborah Termellio (Written in collaboration with Jazzy, & Leonerdo) Ben watched as the three left, and was about to leave himself to escape the uncomfortable silence that was his conversarion with Abe, and Pink walked in, he smiled brightly to his adopted sister, and then frowned. As if the look alone was ten minutes worth of scolding for missing school. He looked her in the eyes and looked over to Abe, before motioning wildly to his soda and then to Abe's, then made an odd switching motion and then gave a confused look. To Pink, this odd charades game would've said something along the lines of: 'I gave him grape soda, he didn't like it, what did I do wrong?' Looking between Pink and Ben as they communicated (if you could even call it that!), Abraham scuffled his eyebrows, narrowing them. Here they were, just talking! Right in front of him! Just as if he wasn't here. Whoever this short litte monster of a girl was - may God have mercy on her sex life - just came a'swoopin' in and starting talking up Ben with only so much as a "hi", just before she propped up her litte fish ass on top of the table. He was two seconds away from wrapping her up in seaweed or sticking her like kebab. "Wrong kind of fuckin' pool, Nemo." He scoffed cynically. Pink audibly smacked a palm against her face. For the love of... Ben was sweet, but sometimes completely oblivious. Sucidally oblivious. Then Abe, the person she was (sort of) defending had to start being an asshat. Pink rolled her eyes and ignored his comments. That was the best she could do, after all, ignore him. "You big..." Pink started off, wiping her hand off her face. "... That's a big sterotype! They- uh, people like him, don't like that!" Once again, her Hispanic accent slipped in. Even Pink knows that. She sounded annoyed, but she couldn't stay angry for long. After all, she understood that Ben lived on a farm for most of his life. "People like him? Christ have mercy, people." Abe snorted. Well, at least she wasn't daft enough to not notice the problem. What kind of backwards asshole does one got to be? Ben looked down to the soda and gave an even more confused face before motion to it wildly. 'It's a frickin' soda!' Before he shook his head and downed the rest of the soda and disposed of it in the recycling bin. He make a soundless sign, and then turned back to Pink. "... It's 'frickin' racist!" Pink exploded. She let out a sigh and rolled her eyes. Honestly, she wanted to get out of here away from Pheromone-chick. "Let's just go now. Some people in here smell horrible." She gestured towards Vespera. "Bingo! And there we have it folks!" Abraham chimed sarcastically as he threw his arms up in the air. Did Bitch Hoss seriously not understand that? Still. He had to give the ugly mermaid her credence: after mentioning how someone smelled horrible, and then gesturing to Wednsday Addam's slutty cousin, he had to keep himself from leaning back and cackling. He did nothing more than raising his hand to his face and biting his knuckle, but was unable to hide the shit-eating grin that stretched from ear to ear. Ben raised his hands defensively in an 'I didnt know!' kind of fashion. His eyebrow raised and he looked over to Vespera. He hadn't smelled anything but, hell if he knew. Pink had a better sense of smell. Oh well. He could take them to the garden! Yes, then he could practice with his power more. He grabbed Pink by her arm and led her outside, not too forcefully of course. He knew his strength well. When they arrived at the garden, he saw another group just leaving. He recognized Shannon and her friend who he had yet to meet, and waved at them. --- Premonitions told Deborah that she was being watched. It was a feeling in the back of her head... But that same feeling told her that it wasn't malicious. She was wondering who would be spying on them. Vespera? Valjean? Someone else. That feeling was confirmed when their little spy dropped down from the tree.... Rather nonchalantly asking to come along. Deborah paused for a moment to examine him (Was on top of the tree, and spying on you the whole time. He heard everything). Wait, what? Did he just appear out of no where? Because last time she checked, the trio were perceptive enough to be able to see that. Other than that... Deborah didn't get much from him. He was just... average. Tall too. Debby sighed, closing her eyes. "... First, don't eavesdrop on us, please." She opened her eyes. Waiting for his reaction, since she knew that he knew. Another nosy behind eavesdropper? Seriously, one thing that irritated Shannon was someone who can't keep to themself. And how? Shannon looked up at the tree. There was no in high hell they couldn't have noticed him. Invisibility would be the only logical way they couldn't have noticed him, and even then Debby's premonition non-sense would have at least told them. "I don't know who you are..." She adjusted her glasses, "... But I highly suggest that you mind your own business." She spoke laced with venom, crossing her arms. "Because you've already gotten on my 'wrong foot'." Deborah sighed. Shannon being Shannon... Always so uppfront with how she dislikes people. Well, at least she has a point. It is best that you mind your own busines... As completely hypocritical as it sounded. However, Deborah was not too against him coming along. She knows his intentions, and they are not malicious like Vespera's. He seems to be curious... A trait both of them have in common. What Deborah wanted to know was what his power was, and what his inner-most thoughts were. She could find out if they bring him along. "Shannon, it's okay." She put a hand on Shannon's shoulder. "I believe we could give him a chance to redeem himself." What's the worse that could go wrong? If he's useless, then they'll cut all ties with him, and that will be the end of it (Until he spies on them again). "That said, the answer is yes." ... Until I get what I want from you. Once again, Shannon rolled her eyes. ".. Fine, but don't get in the way of the people actually doing something." She put a hand on her hip, and rolled her eyes. At the corner of her eyes, Shannon spotted her new bestie, Ben the giant, with a girl who looked like she strolled her way out of some furry's wet dream. Shannon didn't want to say anything to them, being uninterested in them, but Deborah had some different ideas. --- The Titan waving was at her was not unfamiliar, well, the shark next to her was, but she knew Ben as the guy who was talking to Shannon. What she was interested in was their relationship, and what they wanted by following them here to the Garden (Just wanted to get out of the lounge). Well, good enough. "Hey, come over!" She waved back and shouted, giving them the greenlight. Ben smiled and motioned for Pink to follow to be his translator for the time being. Ben, being himself, just wanted to hang out and go wherever these people were going if they would have him. He was still jacked up on coffee and needed some way to expend energy in a nondestructive manner. When he came over he stuck out he hand and gave a look to Pink that said 'Please introduce me because I'm mute and all.', with the biggest and most adorable puppy dog eyes look a 6'10, scruffy moutain man clad in a leather jacket could offer. With big round eyes, glimmering under the casting of light down at small girl half his height. His wide smiled stretched from either end of his rosy cheeks with his lips puckered gently for added effect. Nailed it. Oh boy. Ben was doing just fine a few minutes ago... Unintentionally coming off as racist as all hell, and.... Damn, maybe I should do this after all. Pink sighed, looking at the group before them. A red-head, black-girl, a generic tall-guy, a guy in a suit, a one armed guy, and a woman. Just the dandiest freakshow! Then again, she looked like a shark fucker, and was standing next to the world's tallest farmboy. "Hiiiii!" Pink said, casually walking up to them. "Uhhh... I'm Pink, and this is my friend, Ben Voss." Shannon tipped her glasses, "Yes... I am very aware of your friend." She crossed her arms. Ben simply pulled another cotton ball out of his pocket and tossed it in Shannon's general direction. "... And I am also aware of his ability to pull cotton out his ass." Shannon caught the cotton using her powers almost instantly. It floated over to her, and she put it in her pocket. For later. "I figure you two have want to talk to us... unfortunately, we have business to attend to elsewhere. We'll have to keep things brief, yes?" Ben waved his arms around wildly to Pink, vaguely representing them going with the other group. He was a genious. A god damn genious. Oh, boy. Pink thought to herself, rolling her eyes. He wants to go along with them and looks an idiot at the same time! Pink wasn't too interested in going along with them... Actually. Pink looked down at her ocean-blue bikini, which was a little too small to be called modest. She wanted to get out of this bikini, and into something that didn't make her so revealing.... And get this sand out. At least she'll play along with Ben's game and ask. Hopefully they'll decline, and go on their way, "Well... We're new and want to get a feel for the school... Maybe we can come along with you?" Shannon sighed. No matter her objections, she knew Debby would want to drag them along. Jesus, this seems like a massive expedition now. Besides, she had taken a liking to Ben. "Ooooooh, nothing interesting... We're just taking a little look around in the shipwreck off the coast. Nothing exciting, after all." Deborah stayed on the sideline (They are really close, in a non-romantic way). Interesting. But Deborah wanted to know more. She examined Pink (Bestial meta, has shark-like features) and her mannerisms (Not very interested in us). Hmmm... I can deduce that I couldn't have figured that out for myself, power! (No). Deborah rolled her eyes. There wasn't much information she could cherry-pick from this, so she planned on letting things play out. Be the watcher. Ben listened closely to what Shannon said, and stroked his chin. He had never been to the ship wreck before, and he was sure Pink would like it because ships were in water right? So he was all for it. Ben simply smiled and gave the girls two thumbs up signifying he was all for a little bit of exploring. He briefly wondered whether or not this was legal, then he realized he didn't care the much. School was out for the day anyways. In a way it would be a day at the beach, except at a ship wreck. He heard something about another student having caused a huge accident in the past. He wondered how it would look like now. Actually, going to the shipwreck sounded like a great idea. She'd be able to kill two birds with one stone. Indulge Ben in this stupid trip, and be in water. Though, truth be told, the second she gets to a beach she's jumping in the water to wash out this sand. "Fine, I guess I'll go along..." Pink kicked her feet at the ground. "... But on one condition, Big Man." That was her new nickname for Ben. "You have to give me plenty of cotton along the way to work with."' She tipped her glasses at Ben. "Do we have a deal?" Ben gave the thumbs up once again. Either way, Deborah just couldn't contain herself. Everyone was sitting around talking when they could be solving mysteries! She grabbed Shannon by the wrist and began dragging her along, "C'mon, we don't have time for that! Mystery awaits!" She went straight for the walls. She knew exactly where the ship wreck was. "... Hey, Debs, wait!" Shannon yelled, resisting for a moment, before she simply stopped and let herself be pulled. Ben looked down at Pink and shrugged, before following after the rest of the group.
