After a bit more rubbing, Edge drew his hands back. He would need to move them eventually. Furrowing his eyebrows, the human wondered where to put them. Path took up half of their bed, so it wouldn't make sense to put them there. The storage facilities wwere no places for children. Suddenly, Edge knew. The library. Human babies were more advanced if they were read top, but Edge doubted it would matter. The library was cozy and he could place the eggs- no, Sleipnir ans Skylark- near a heater. Takeing one egg in each arm, Edge carefully carried his offspring to the library and gently placed them in front of a metal heater. Flicking it on, Edge giggled. "Your uh... other daddy's sleepy, but I'll take care of you two." Edge confided. He sighed,l laying diown between the two eggs and let the heat wash over him. "Lalala..." He sang gently. Not even Path had heard him sing, because he was always embarassed about it. ""When the stars fall... Lalala..." He sang them an ancient lullaby the Sky had once sang to him. He pressed his lips to Sleipnir's egg. "I bet you guys will be really handsome, just like your father!" Skylark stopped listening to his father, and turned his attention to his brother. Home? What was home? Deciding he would know soon enough, he asked, 'Sleepy?' Suddenly, he was struck with the image of a male with bright violet eyes. It was Path's memory. Taking the image, he projected it to Sleipnir. "Daddy." He repeated.
