Things were going well for the Infiltration team and they got back to the garage without incident but that's is as far as the easy sailing went. As the team got them prepared a group of Ten armed guards bust into the garage combing the area for the infiltration team. As soon as one of the guards noticed the team he whistled alerting the others before bringing up his rifle and opening fire. There they were. Ten armed guards coming straight for the three of them clustered around Jason's gleaming red car, and advancing quickly. Vanessa was in the middle of pulling on her fairly lightweight shield gauntlet when she first noticed them. One of them caught sight of her and signaled to the others, and soon enough, the whole group of them was running towards the trio. Turning her head sharply in the other direction, Vanessa noticed that Acacia had her shotgun hefted in her hand. Vanessa reached for her slightly antiquated gun and made sure it was loaded and ready to fire. I really need a better gun, she thought wryly to herself, noticing the weaponry that both Acacia and Genesis wielded. Shaking her head at her own flighty nature, Vanessa glanced up and saw that the guards were getting closer and closer. Oh, shit Vanessa cursed inwardly. She circled around behind the car, which put her in a relatively safe position-for now. No guarantees to the safety of the car though, and if the enemy decided to close off the rear (which, admittedly, was something anyone with a functioning brain would do), well, to put it bluntly; she'd be screwed over. "You guys ready for this?" Vanessa asked warily, waiting for one of the guards to get in range. She had no idea what type of armor they'd have on, but hopefully the bullets that she had previously loaded into her firearm would penetrate it. If not, then.....Vanessa really didn't want to finish her thought. Ah! Right there! Vanessa squeezed the trigger, and a bullet shot straight out of weapon, whizzing past the guard in the front, missing him by a few inches. "Goddammit!" Vanessa exclaimed. However, there was no time to linger on the missed mark. The guards had now opened fire, and Vanessa ducked as a bullet ricocheted off the top of the car. She winced. "Sorry, Jason," she muttered, peering over the roof of the once flawless car, facing the incoming guards that were now trying to surround her, Acacia, and Genesis. "Looks like your car is gonna get more than just a scratch."
