Perhaps they were right. Had they grown too confident? Reno had been easily able to overwhelm his opponents from before with his massive amounts of magical power. No one they had faced from before could match to Reno's and Oner's combined might, let alone match up to even Reno's singular might, even when they held back. Well, except maybe the Six Senses, but even then from the looks of it Mika would have had a hard time dealing with Reno and Oner's newly awakened being. Of course, Oner already knew that there were people out there stronger than all of them. Only a fool believes that he's the best. They hadn't seen the match with Lucas since they were visiting the Mirror Realm, so they knew nothing of this other organization that was after them. So naturally, the might of this third party was something that they hadn't taken into account. No, overconfidence wasn't an issue here. Why would the enemy want to strengthen their enemies. After all, one grew stronger from adversity. This battle would undoubtedly allow the party to grow much stronger as they all re-evaluated their strengths. So there was one question Oner had to ask. "Why are you helping us?" If this was indeed a warning, or perhaps a lesson, for them to not get too cocky then it would be considered something that helpful. Oner's wounds all seemed healed now, as if he never had any, but in actuality he never received those wounds from the explosion attack that the Elfin woman performed on Reno, but they didn't need to know Denizen physiology. Reno's wounds were mostly all healed now anyway thanks to multiple Curaja spells, he would just be sore for a little while, but a night's rest would get rid of that. Of course, before that question could be answered Reno reappeared and sat down upside down in mid-air, eating a sandwich now, a drink floating in front of him upside down, its contents not spilling. Reno had taken a bit of his sandwich and looked at it, deciding to ask his question now. "Do you ha--" but before he could ask what was probably a condiment based question a bottle of mayonnaise appeared in front of him. "Ah, never mind". He grinned, still looking pretty cheery as he applied the condiment to his sandwich. After eating the sandwich down and drinking the upside down drink he sighed out in content, now floating sideways in mid-air, as if he was sitting on a wall. It was after that, for the first time at least for most of them that his expression grew serious. It was a very mysterious expression, filled with wisdom as he stared at the other group for a few moments, looking to each of them as their reflections appeared in his different colored eyes before he decided to float straight up just a few inches on the ground. It was after he was upright that he asked his question, his tone of voice seeming quieter, wiser, and gentler, his body looking relatively unscathed from that powerful attack that the elfin woman did on him.
