Carnage smiled as his plan came to fruition, a squad of men in hidiing, one of his best, used their jump jets to launch themselves at Gervus, all as strong as he himself was, aiming to make him reconsider the freezing tactic, especially since it would only kill a few, and they could easily fight on ice. Thirdly, the jump was so high and the men so strong that Gervus's momentum was at least halved by the raw force. one even made a good uppercut to his jawline, doubting it'd help, he really just wanted to punch the bastard. Gervus though that the men had a blind spot, but recent advancements produced a new Tactician, the Oracle, he seemed to see everything, though he looked blind. He had called Gervus out from his approach vector and given Carnage the tactical info necessary to react, it was rare he needed this tactician, but when he did. He did, and he would never deny that. At the denial of Gervus's airborne attack his men re-emerged from cover, and re-initiated their brutal assault, no doubt the men would be shaken off and killed. They knew that risk, but they shut down Gervus, and planted a tracker. This tracker further locked the Sword of Dawn on Gervus alone. The signal was now given and thousands of human soldiers poured from origins unknown, guns blazing. This was going to be a massacre, and under his helmet Carnage laughed. Gervus thought he was going to outwit one could find a way to crush an abominations skull? How naieve...and amusing.
