Beast would have drug Alastair to the restroom, but made a promise not to lay a claw upon anybody on the first day back. Instead, he mustered his best smile, and kindly stated. Synn stared at the girl or a few moments, taking in the brutality of the situation. His "surprised" expression fell upon his face, looking exactly like his bored, happy, angry, or any other expression he used. He did recognize the girl. She was quite powerfull, and knew her share of darker magic. Synn had only ever talked to her once, but he did recognize her. He didnt want to give this teacher the impression that he had done something, so he gave the most generic answer that came to mind. "Yeah, she is a student her i think." What a perfect, nondescrete answer.
