Francesca watched the small girl leave the ship. At this point, she felt that her responsibility for the girl had lifted. As such, she put her bag over her shoulder, reset her earphone, and walked out. The landing are was nice looking to say the least. Still, it was finally time for her entrance to Beacon. There was little instruction on where to go so she just walked in the general direction of where she thought she she needed to go. This also happened to be where most of the other students were going.

Somehow, she ended up catch up to the other students making their way to school. "DAMNIT THIS SUCKS!" A voice called out loud enough that Francesca could hear it over the now lowered volume of her music. It was a male voice and Francesca thought she found out who's voice it was. "If it 'sucks', then maybe you don't belong here." She said out of irritation. She didn't know his story, nor did she care, but she worked too many years for this. There was no more need to complain about him though. She turned the sound up slightly on her music and began lightly singing the song, "If the stars all fall; When there's no more light," She absent-mindedly continued.

When the ship made touch down, her anxiety instantly turned into excitement as she realized they had made to Beacon Academy, the Beacon! The very school that had taught some of the greatest huntsman and huntresses known all around.

“Of course,” Esther agreed with a nod, allowing those on the roof to go ahead of her, not only to be polite, but because she knew her slowness would only end up with her being pushed and probably falling down the stairs. She already fell down once today, she didn’t need to make it a habit. She took in the sight of the colossal school, taking in all of its detail she can see from the top of the ship before it disappeared and her sight was taken over by the inside of the ship.

The ship was mostly cleared as students rushed to explore the school grounds and get settled in. Did they get dorms now or was that later? She really had no idea what they were supposed to do, and probably should have listened to the quick announcements from that Goodwitch person. Well, that of course, will be dealt with later. Esther noticed she had people waiting for her. That was actually new, usually she was left behind, not that she cared.

“Sorry for the wait,” she apologized again, rubbing the back of her scaled neck in embarrassment. “You guys can always go ahead if you like, I don’t mind,” Esther added, giving them a way out of sticking with her out of pity or whatever it was that caused people to stay with her. Well it’s not like the school is going anywhere, I don’t see why people are being a bunch of hurry hares. Pretty sure that orientation given by the headmaster isn’t until later. With a wave toward the door to allow them to go ahead of her like she did before, Esther made her way out of the ship and onto the campus.

The airship had landed. A gentle thudding signalling to Kuhaku that it did, breaking him from his meditative state. Opening his blue eyes and blinking, he slowly looked up to see students grabbing their bags and exiting the craft. He was surprised that he had lasted the entire flight with not a single soul speaking to him and bothering him. Perhaps that was attributed by the fearsome mask he wore. Good. The more that decided to stay away from him, the better. He didn't intend on making many friends during his time here at Beacon. That wasn't his goal after all. He was here to receive the best possible education he could to help him improve his skills as a future top Hunter. He wasn't here to enjoy himself.

Arms crossed to act as a sort of physical barrier between himself and others, he remained in his seat as the other students got up and moved about. Grabbing their belongings and generally being loud and disorganized. How irritating, all the noise they made. As he sighed, his mask filtered out the sound of his breath. Though usually patient when it came to certain things, having to wait for and deal with people quickly made him impatient. To show his impatience, he began to shake one of his legs up and down. In all honesty, he could easily slip through the crowd and make his way to Beacon's school grounds. He'd just rather not have to bump into many elbows and attract attention, preferring to stay at the back of the group. His black ears twitching from side to side, the ship finally emptied of enough people to satisfy him. Standing, he fluidly moved with purpose, quickly exiting the ship. Having taken no belongings with him on his trip. No matter. He'll get whatever he needs from the nearby city later, after he gets settled.

As he walked with an odd grace, almost as if he were gliding, his long black tail and the ends of his black scarf trailed in the air behind him. The chains wrapped along his arms clinking against each other musically as he moved. Blue eyes staring straight ahead, he hung back from the large group of students making their way to Beacon. With any luck, he could continue through the rest of this transitional period being left alone in peace.

"No, no... If I did that... Just terrible... Expulsion..." Khalis was now pacing back and forth muttering to himself. Goddammit! Why did life's decisions have to be so damn complex?! He stopped his pacing, glancing around, noticing he was near the back now, being mostly ignored. Those that did give him any thought did so with a confused and uncomfortable expression. "Shit..." He'd done it already. Ah well. Not like it can get any worse. With a sigh, Khalis scratched the back of his neck. But it's not like it's getting any better either...

Then he noticed something. Or rather, someone. It was... something strange, at least. A person, most likely another student, except that they looked as if they were some kind of ninja, clothed in mostly black and even chains, and a mask to boot. With a presence that was difficult to detect, its a wonder Khalis even found him. But that was how his mind worked, subconsciously paying attention to easily ignored details. Interested, he stuffed his hands in his pockets and followed after the mysterious person, curious and bored. He maintained a constant distance of roughly a meter, but never looked away from the stranger. Seems like some kind of poser. That, or he's someone you don't want to mess with, hence the mask. That, or he's somebody who just wants to be ignored. I wonder which one it is...

Michelle found herself lost in thoughts about home and her sniper rifle Artemis. She could still remember the day she first created it. There it was, freshly-built and brand new in her hands, and she wanted to try it out for the first time. Then her mind cleated, and she found herself back in the ship, looking out the window and heading towards Beacon. She sighed, knowing that she shouldn't have let her thoughts wander so much.

Then she felt a change in movement on the ship, and saw out the window that the ship had landed. Wasting no time, she pushed herself off the ground and onto her feet, dusting the back of her cloak for any dust and then making sure she had everything with her. Sniper rifle in hand, bag of essentials slung over her shoulder, and cloak still concealing her, she followed the group out the ship and onto the ground. As she took her first look at Beacon, her first thought was, It's bigger than I expected.

Perry awoke to the world of the waking without a trace of drowsiness, blinking once as he reoriented himself. It would appear that the airship had just landed itself, and Perry turned to look out the window to confirm that, yes, it indeed had. The towers of Beacon Academy stood tall in the distance while, closer to, he could see other students disembark the airship. Hopping off the ledge, he landed lightly on the metal floor with nary a sound, his only bag clutched in hand. The comfortable weight of Blast Bicell could be felt on his back, so he was all but ready to depart. Feeling it would be more appropriate here, in this empty hallway, than on the middle of the port Perry decided to stretch a bit. While his mind might not have needed any time after his nap, the same couldn’t be said for his body.

The step outside felt much better after he had taken the time to stretch a bit, working out the kinks that had formed during his brief nap. His scarf was wrapped loosely, but completely so it didn’t drift in the wind and possibly smack others in the face. Still he stepped off to the side and out of the way to drink in the sight of the prestigious Academy. It was much larger in scale than anything he had seen, though that said little given where he was from. Still, once the awe had faded and he had shaken his head to clear it, Perry followed after the rest of the airship’s passengers.

His black ears twitched, swiveling left and right as they picked up every curious noise and sound. As Kuhaku continued making his way towards Beacon he passed by a white-haired male that was pacing back and forth, saying something to himself.

"No, no...If I did that... Just terrible... Expulsion..." the boy muttered, Kuhaku picking up on most of what he said.

What exactly was the boy contemplating doing if a possible consequence was expulsion from Beacon? They had just arrived and this student was already looking to cause trouble? Curious... but, no matter. Kuhaku just continued to walk past him, not even giving him so much as a glance. The affairs of others were of no concern to him. No use getting wrapped up in something pointless and time-consuming.

However, after he gained some distance from the muttering white-haired boy, he heard his pacing had stopped and felt his gaze fall upon his back as he walked away. His footsteps moving towards him. Kuhaku's eyes looked at the ground in front of him as he concentrated on his hearing. His focus temporarily attuned to the white-haired boy now following behind him. Did Kuhaku do something to pique his interest? He hoped not. But now he had a sneaking suspicion that he did indeed and was now being tailed.

Scowling, he quickly grew irritated. He didn't appreciate being followed, not many people would. He would have to deal with the other boy, somehow. Quickly running through his options, he wondered which course of action he should take. The first option was to ignore his 'stalker', continuing to Beacon without paying any mind to him. To say nothing, to not even look over his shoulder at him. However, that would mean having to deal with someone who would potentially give him issues in the future. Especially since his prior eavesdropping gave him the impression of being a trouble-maker. That, and having to deal with the annoyance of being followed. The second option was to nip this in the bud right then and there. To stop and confront his stalker and make it clear that he was not to be trifled with. Not someone to toy and play around with. If it worked, he could intimidate him and prevent any future interactions with him. If it didn't, it could backfire and cause him to be increasingly interested. Was there any third option? He couldn't think of one at the moment. Tapping a finger against his arm, his arms still crossed, both options were sort of a gamble.

Halting in his tracks, Kuhaku uncrossed his arms and let them dangle by his side. Clenching his hands into fists, he decided he would go with the second option, his irritation getting the better of him. Turning, he faced the white-haired boy behind him and glared intensely at him. With a look in his eyes that demanded, "What do YOU want?" a low growl rising from his throat and oddly resonating within the metal fanged mask that he wore. Strange, his mask wasn't supposed to do that. He would have to take a look and fix that later.

Growing bored standing around looking at people, Schwarz started to walk around, half admiring the architecture of the school's building, half searching for places noone might look if she wanted not to be seen or found for whatever the reason. The more she thought about it, the more she was starting to realize her ruse won't hold for much longer. Unlike ears or claws, wings that were almost as wide as she was tall weren't so easy to hide, and two days form now she will have to start wearing the school's uniform that was far too form fitting to accommodate the leather harness that kept her appendages from the eyes of the public. Not to mention the initiation. It wouldn't be the first time she relied on her wings to save her hide. Maybe... she thought as her hand reached for the buttons on her jacket.

Then she saw it. A huge meathead of a guy, picking on a lanky girl spotting a pair of rabbit ears. Her arm promptly hung back along her side. She thought briefly about charging in and breaking them apart, but remembering the first day expulsion fiasco possibility, she decided to swallow it this time. Keep together girl. she wished to the rabbit faunus, but breaking a guy on the first day probably wouldn't make het too many friends. Well, not among the humans. Speaking of not making friends....

Schwarz's eyes fell upon the girl that sat near her on the airplane. She lumbered closer, just in time to see Thug go off ranting. "What a disgrace." she commented, her eyebrows scowling. Looking at the other woman, she promptly look back to the ground in shame. "I'm sorry for my behavior back on the airship. I wasn't feeling well and it made me... edgy. I hope I didn't offend you." she apologized.

As Francesca walked along, she saw something out of the corner of her eye. It was a girl. Specifically, it was the girl that complained to her on the ship earlier about the low volume music. She took one of her earphones out while the other girl talked. "I'm sorry for my behavior back on the airship. I wasn't feeling well and it made me... edgy. I hope I didn't offend you." she apologized. An apology? That wasn't something she hadn't really be given in a while. It was mostly scared eyes. Non-understanding eyes. It wasn't that bad a long time ago. Mostly just in recent years did it get like that, until now at least. Still, what good was an apology? Words were words. Francesca could make them up as well.

On the other hand, she was looking to the ground. . . In shame perhaps? "Words are meaningless in some cases." Francesca said, "Actions speak louder than words, I'll take your looking at the ground in place of your vocal apology." Her eyes stared at the other girl, not quite able to look her in the eyes due to the girl averting eyes. She made a 'hmmp' noise and continued, "We may fight on the battlefield together one day." She held her hand to the girl to shake hands, "Raise your head. We are peers, after all. Francesca Stahl, a pleasure. . . I suppose."

The figure he was following seemed uncomfortable. No doubt he detected Khalis, although his lack of actions proved boring and made apparent that the person was thinking of what to do. Khalis continued on nonetheless. Then the figure finally stopped, which Khalis imitated, a look of mild confusion. He must've made up his mind. He's not gonna ignore me, so that must mean he's either ready for a full on sprint to escape me or trying to pick a fight with me. Ah well. Let's see! and thus ended his internal monologue as the person turned and glared daggers at him. If looks could kill. He was definitely irritated, but Khalis showed no reaction to this, not even cracking a smile or breaking a nervous sweat. Instead, he tilted his head slightly.

The mask was what caught his attention. It looked very nice, vicious and intimidating. He was tempted to prod the fangs, but decided the best course of action was no course of action. He instead waited for the person to do something. Still though, that mask. Awesome. The cat ears were cool too-Wait, were those actual cat ears? A Faunus? This... May make things a little more unfortunate. Khalis himself showed no love or hatred for the Faunus, only indifference as he felt about normal humans too. But the fellow here might feel otherwise about humans. No, considering his despising gaze, humans were not the most liked in his mind.

After a moment of silence between the two, Khalis was now very curious. Ignoring whatever remark the person said, Khalis began examining the entire body, asking various random questions of almost no importance a mile a minute. "Where did you get that mask? Do you prefer inside or outside? What kind of music do you like? What's your favourite color? Your opinion on animals and the monsters of Grimm? Ranged or Melee? Are you not very social? Where are you ticklish?" Finally, after his study, ignoring almost all remarks that weren't a clear answer, he waited a moment, studying him over after stepping back a bit, then said "What's your opinion on water?"

After taking his separate path from Schwarz, Kael began to wander about, looking to get away from the crowd of new guys. He knows that it may be best to make friends now, but it was important that he get away now. He needed the peace and quiet to calm his mind. He began to meander away from the masses when he found himself in the middle of a garden, full of flowers and on one side, a small patch of dirt. He moved to that patch of dirt and sat down. There was no people around, yelling at the top of their lungs, exclaiming their joy to be at Beacon. There was simply the beauty of the world and the simplicity of nature.

Looking at a certain flower, Kael began to lose track of time. The many different veins captivated him, leading him to wonder about the flower's life. At that very moment, a beak came down and gobbled the flower, breaking his trance. Kael seemed to jump back, surprised by the sudden disappearance. Not looking at his target, he scooped up some dirt and pulled one of his swords off his belt. Throwing the dirt upwards to mask his presence, he began to stab forward when he heard a sudden yelp. Stopping his blade, the dirt began to settle as Kael waited in that same position. Behind the dirt and the target of his aggression, Kael saw a female Faunus who looked a bit like a chicken. He began to retract his blade and bit it back when he noticed her crying. He stood back a bit, beginning to stammer out an apology, when she looked at him with a look of hurt and anger. Her mouth began to slowly mouth something and he felt something coming from her. He moved a bit closer and heard, from what he could understand, a cluck. She slowly began to move in a certain pattern, with her hands in her armpits and began to dance...

He started to look everywhere for he sensed he was going to be in danger. He scrambled, turning in circles until he saw a small hen come running up. It moved up to him and began to peck him. Then another showed up. And another. And another. And another. And another. And another. And another. And another. And another. And another. And another. And another. And another. And another. And another. And another. And another. And another. And another. And another. And another. And another. And another. And another. And another. And another. And another. And another. And another. And another. And another. Pretty soon, Kael had become buried in feathers. With a yelp, he began to run away, towards the mass of students, for they may be able to help him.The chickens came a following, with the female faunus still dancing and clucking.

"Don't worry about it." Gerald shrugged in response to her apology as he followed her off of the ship. "It's not like there's any particular reason to rush."

Stepping off of the ship, Gerald took the moment to look at Beacon in all it's splendour. From all the places he had been to and everything he could remember, compared to them this looked like something that existed right out of fiction. This was a place for the elite; for the brightest of the brightest. It was a new beginning for everyone here; a day he believed each and every single person would remember -

"CLUCK!"

His interior monologue freezing into place, Gerald slowly turned to see Kael being chased by a mass of fluttering white feathers that were apparently chicken. He could barely make out a chicken faunus girl somewhere in this mess, and he actually took a few moments to confirm that this still wasn't a dream.

"Wat."

"...Do all Faunus have the ability to charm the animals they're based off of?" he asked Esther and Coral even as he was unable to take his eyes off of the white feathered spectacle in front of him.

Success. Or not? Schwarz couldn't really tell form the way this Francesca was talking. She wasn't sure she needed to hear the whole thought process, and it left her a bit confused as to how she made that conclusion rather than not. Still, she got a hand offered - that meant no hard feelings right? Looking up into the amber eyes opposite he own, she shook the hand. "Schwarz Nacht. Looking forward to that battle. Did you make that?" she said with a bit of admiration in her voice as her eyes followed the length of Francesca's dark blade that easily dwarfed Swansong.

That's when her eyes went a bit wide as she saw what appeared to be Kael fleeing form a flock of chicks, and not in the meaning of the word a guy would want to be surrounded by. Raising her hands to her mouth, she hollered: "Deploy flares!", then pointing to her pocket, meaning to indicate he should use the bird food he got on him to distract the pursuing feathered army. Never let it be said she wasn't resourceful. The whole sight was just too amusing for her to help any further though, at least not yet.

Returning her attention to the girl, she reached into her pocket, pulling out an old fashioned watch, "Say, it's almost 12, the headmaster's speech isn't until 14." she shrugged, "Do you feel like finding out what the school's cooks are worth?" she asked, her stomach sending her so far mild notifications lunch time was approaching.

Chickens. Coral's teeth showed as she smiled at the sight. Good to see a Faunus standing up for herself. She hadn't seen what silliness had started this silliness, but it didn't matter. The guy was surely getting what he deserved, and she was certainly getting dinner.

The sheath on her back made a clicking noise and it unlocked for one of the knives to release. Said knife floated out to Coral's side, and she grabbed it without even needing to look. It was a long sleek thing, without much adornment other than the glowing red stone at the bottom that linked it to the sheath, which was then connected to her aura. As far as uses went, it looked more suited for slashing and poking things in melee than for throwing, but that had never bothered Coral. Heck, with enough practice you could cut things with cards, and she'd built similar rapport with these deadly instruments.

It didn't take particular skill to hit one of the chickens, though. There were so many of them that it was like shooting fish in a barrel. But that worked well enough for Coral: after all, she wasn't doing this for the challenge, she was doing this because delicious meat was parading in front of her, taunting her with its not-deadness. She threw out the knife, and amidst the white feathered madness a splash of red signified her success. She issued the recall command, and the knife, chicken attached, heeded it, zipping through the enraged hens directly back to its position at her side.

She removed the chicken and cleaned the knife on it before returning said knife to its holster and then biting into her meal. "Yeah, I'm sure they are," she lied to Gerald's question, shrugging. "I prefer to threaten and maim than to charm, personally."

"Want some?" She gestured invitingly at the dead bird as her "hair" stripped away the feathers and she spat out the few she'd bitten off in her impatience. "Tastes like chicken!"

Alyssa

Followed the paths of Beacon, diverse looking people were near her, Faunus and human were everywhere. She took sometime to look at beacon itself, observing the areas and looking out for benches to sleep on. She reached the entrance of Beacon, only a few people were entering and others were walking around Beacon. The introductions didn't happen until later and there wasn't much excitement. Staring at the doors for a second, people bumping into her as they entered. "Boring..." She stated, sounding a tad mono-toned. She sighed, a few students whining at her to move, though she didn't listen. She grabbed her staff of which was attached onto her backpack, twirling it around her hands until the orb pointed the sky.

She was testing if the school was strong and durable and if not she didn't really care. The orb of her staff gleamed of red light, shooting the doors but nothing happened. The doors stood in place as if there was a barrier protecting it. 'Durable' she said to herself as smoke lifted into the air, though it lasted for only a few seconds. Adults nearby slightly got frightened, quickly going to the scene but she left before they could reach her.

Alyssa entered the building, students staring at her because of that shot. She smiled, walking around the halls of the building.

"Schwarz Nacht." Francesca repeated the girl's name. Then her eyes followed Schwarz's to one of her weapons. This one just so happened to be Bulletedge. "Indeed I did. It's name is Bulletedge. Bullet," She put her finger on the trigger part of the weapon and made it transform into it's other form. " for it's gun form. Edge for the sword." She turned it back to it's sword form and kept her eyes on Schwarz as she put it back. She was glad to be able to do that at least. "What about--"

She was going to ask about her weapon but was interrupted by someone being chased by a bunch of small birds that caught both her's and Schwarz's attention. The chicks could grow up to be something tasty in the future, which reminded Francesca, she was actually a bit hungry. "Deploy Flares!" Schwarz yelled right next to her. Following the girls hand gestures, Francesca noted the other girl pointing to her pocket. She wasn't sure of the meaning, nor did she particularly care.

Then Schwarz pulled a pocket watch out as that mess of a chase went away. Francesca really hasn't seen a pocket watch since her father. . . "Say, it's almost 12, the headmaster's speech isn't until 14." Schwarz shrugged, "Do you feel like finding out what the school's cooks are worth?"

Francesca was hungry so there wasn't much room to disagree now. She moved a longer stray hair out of her face as she replied. "I suppose we could. I'm hungry now after all." After looking around a little she then asked, "Do you know where the cafeteria is?" As if someone who had been there about the same amount of time as her would know where everything was. Perhaps there was a map or directory of some sort. None she could see.

Michelle sighed. Already there were ridiculous scenes happening everywhere. An angry mob of chickens chasing someone, and then someone shot at the front doors for seemingly no reason. She expected Beacon to be... ok she wasn't sure how Beacon was supposed to be, but she didn't expect this. She debated for a second whether or not to help the one being chased by chickens, then rolled her eyes, thinking, Might as well.

She threw back the right side of her cloak, revealing her sniper rifle Artemis, then crouched down and aimed it at the chicken Faunus girl who seemed to be controlling them. Switching her dust setting on her rifle to Wind, she fired, her shot going past the Faunus. The wind it created, though, and the Faunus spinning around in place, eventually stopping and collapsing onto the ground, disoriented and dizzy. The chickens were now just looking around and clucking.

With a twirl she returned her rifle to its original position under her cloak, and walked over to the boy who had been chased. The top portion of her face still covered by the hood of her cloak, she offered her left hand to him for a handshake.

The white-haired boy didn't seem to react to his glare or low growl. This would be problematic. Perhaps he misjudged and the boy hadn't been following him after all? He wanted to ease up a little but, then he realized that the white-haired boy was sizing him up. Noticing the other boy's eyes fall upon his mask and then his ...ears? It seemed to dawn on the other boy that Kuhaku was a Faunus and he felt his disposition change slightly. Taking a quick moment to himself to look over the white-hair, he sniffed at the air and confirmed he was a human. Human scent and with no animal-like physical traits that he could see. In his book, no human was to be trusted and Kuhaku harbored what he called a 'functioning hatred' for them and their kind. Did he harbor ill will towards Faunus? If so, then Kuhaku would straighten out this issue right then and there.

He didn't fear expulsion as the other boy apparently did. Beacon is a top-tier and prestigious school. In his mind, most of the student body was accepted for demonstrating exceptional qualities to be found in top future Huntsmen. They wouldn't easily expel its students and get rid of so much potential. At least, he hoped so. Whatever. Maybe he was wrong and this boy wasn't following him. Relaxing his stance slightly, he was prepared to turn and walk away until the boy stopped him with a rapid-fire assault of questions. Great. Someone talkative. Why did he have to turn around and potentially pique interest?

"Where did you get that mask?"
"I made it, along with my weapons."
"Do you prefer inside or outside?"
"Outside during nice weather, inside during inclement weather."
"What kind of music do you like?"
"Rock and Electronic music of nearly all types, though I'm not terribly picky."
"What's your favorite color?"
"Red."
"Your opinion on animals and the monsters of Grimm?"
"I prefer animals to humans and hate Grimm nearly as much as I hate humankind."
"Ranged or Melee?"
"Melee, it's too boring sitting back to fight Ranged."
"Are you not very social?"
"Yes."
"Where are you ticklish?"
"I'd rather not be touched at all. Much less tickled."

The boy then fell silent for a moment before taking a step back and asking his final random question.
"What's your opinion on water?"
"Essential to life and fun to swim in."

What was with these questions? Did they serve any purpose other than to irritate and annoy him? Was the boy asking them in earnest or was he just messing with Kuhaku? Teasing him, even? In any case, Kuhaku kept his mental responses and answers to himself. Unclenching his fists, he relaxed and stood straight, staring at the other boy still. Should he not be rude and at least offer a sparsely worded reply? No. It was a waste of time and energy to do so. The questions were pointless to him anyways.

It was then at that moment that a student who had seemingly angered an Avian Faunus made a big scene of being chased by a flock of hens. Truly a comedic sight, but Kuhaku saw it as an opportunity to escape his fellow inquisitive student. Turning, he began to walk away, taking advantage of the distraction. As he neared the front entrance to the school, he threw up his arms defensively as another student suddenly attacked its large doors with an explosive blast to no effect. Goodness, this was going to be an interesting school year to say the least. Mostly due in part to the ridiculous student body. Sighing quietly, he lowered his arms and continued to trek. Hopeful that he had left the other male student behind. Maybe he would take being ignored as a clear sign that Kuhaku wasn't one to socialize with or talk to.

At least, he hoped. There was a lot of 'hoping' today.

The person wasn't responding at all. That's odd... Maybe he's trying more than ever to be silent. Then he followed his gaze, Khalis discovering that someone was being chased by a flock of chickens. Eyes widening in excitement and anguish, he watched as the hapless student tried to avoid the angry army of the tasty. Why does everyone else have to have so much more fun things happen to them?? A dagger out of nowhere dug itself into on the chickens, a brief yelp before it was dragged by the same dagger to a person Khalis could only describe as the Kraken's kid. Another person shouting "Deploy flares!" and directing at her pocket.

Suddenly the flock was thrown out of order, caused by what appeared to be a gust of wind, and a chicken like Faunus flew out of the group, landing to the side near Khalis. The avian storm dying down, he saw what looked like a cloaked person hiding a large rifle before going over to Mr. Hapless and offering to help him up. The chickens nearby were softly clucking as they walked about aimlessly. An somewhat close explosion behind him confirmed that this school was nuts. Maybe too nuts for his tastes. Sure, madness was fun, but insane asylums tend to be otherwise. Weirded out completely, Khalis walked slowly backward, expression fading into one of indifference that read "CANNOT UNSEE.". After a few steps, he finally turned around and went for the entrance. He'd wait around until the opening ceremony. He didn't even bother to notice that he had passed the guy he was questioning earlier.
