The alarm clock beeped viciously, forcing Sky to wake from his deep slumber which finally came to claim him. Bringing his hand up, he shoved down the flat of his hand against the button to stop the ringing and laid lifeless in his bed, cursing the morning which had befallen him. Mornings were the worst things ever, especially when he heard a knock on the door by the one person who seemed to be up before the first bird song. “Hey, Skyler. You up?” Evan, that guy was never tired. Maybe that was his power which countless injections had developed, rather than the faint traces of telekinesis displayed from time to time. “I hear you…” Skyler struggled out of bed, nearly falling face first into the floor in the process. This was going to be a mission day and he needed to give it a hundred percent. Slipping into a pair of jeans and socks, he put on a t-shirt and lazily opened the door. “Yes?” “Your hair is really messy.” Evan reached over and ruffled the already messy hair atop Skyler’s head. “Don’t you have like…a computer to date, or something?” Sniper yawned and reached for the suitcase he had placed by the door, having to do so three ties before eventually getting hold of the handle. “Only when you’re out there working.” Evan winked and motioned towards the bathroom. “You look like hell, I’ll be waiting until you freshen up.” The computer wiz kid dropped down on an armchair and crossed his legs, waiting for Skyler to welcome the morning with open arms. Without another word, Skyler raised an eyebrow as his friend made himself comfortable and simply shook his head slowly before turning towards the bathroom and made sure to shower, brush his teeth and make himself look acceptable for the world. “The bad guys don’t care what I look like when I shoot them…” He mumbled as he walked out to the corridor with Evan following close behind, holding Sky’s suitcase. “I have looked through the maps posted on the walls and we’re heading this way.” It was good to know that he had been spending his morning doing something productive. “You’re making me look bad, sunshine.” Skyler rubbed his eyes and yawned, following Evan towards the intended location. Once they reached their destination, they saw how there was someone there already. It was there leader up and ready for action. Another one seemed to enjoy early mornings. “Hello.” Sky raised his hand in a greeting before placing his suitcase on the floor and sat on it. “I hope you slept well.” Evan smiled softly as his quiet words were directed towards Sam.
