Seamus continued walking, glancing around now and again to take in his surroundings. He wondered if he was near any truly populous city, or if he was somewhere like the countryside of Wyoming that could stretch on forever. Of course, that was just a stereotype, but it’s not like he’d ever been to Wyoming to dismiss it. Or any state for that matter. He knew all about the US and other countries, he could prattle off facts all day. But it was a laboratory type of knowledge. Nothing with meat. He was thinking to himself when he suddenly felt like he was being watched. After being watched on the daily for so many years, one kind of got used to the feeling, but still recognized it when it was there. Frowning, Seamus lifted his head in a very bird like fashion, twisting his gaze this way and that until he spotted some legs dangling down. Following their lines upwards, he saw two girls sitting in the shadows on a wall almost right above him. His frown lifted and he tilted his head in a curious way that let his hair fall out of his vision. ”Um, hello…” he said, his first words ever spoken to someone who wasn’t a scientist, nurse, or doctor. That was how people greeted each other out here too wasn’t it? Perhaps. He’d have to wing it nonetheless.
