While he walked up the stairs to the third floor, Sato ran over his thoughts of this new kid. He seemed quieter than most, which was neither an issue or a hindrance, but he appeared almost vacant. Like he was thinking about a thousand different things at once. The idea seemed ludicrous, however, as the boy held conversation well, and politely at that, considering how much Sato had rambled on about his club when Rui had asked about it. Like a set of dominoes, one thought led to another and his mind was a blur of ideas. It wasn’t long until he found himself slumped into the desk he had been in that morning. Students started to flow into the classroom and fill up the empty desks, leaving a few empty here and there. Pretty much all the seats on the wall sides had been taken which left most of the vacancies near the center. Though, there weren’t many empty seats in the first place, so it was hardly noticeable. Perfect in case anyone transferred to Warakuma during the school year. The young man let a long sigh escape his lips as he stared down the stack of papers in front of him. If there was one thing he hated doing, it was paperwork. It was such a monotonous and silly thing to him, yet it had so much importance that it frankly upset Sato a bit. Class was going to start in literally minutes and he had no idea where to even start with it. The thought of spending literally every free minute he had until the end of classes working on those forms send a shiver down his spine, but motivation struck in the form of thinking of how livid Rokoru would be if Sato didn’t finish them by the time they were to meet up. He was pulled away from his duty, and Sato had promised that he’d take the torch! With a new-found drive, Sato practically slammed his pencil to the paper and started filling out everything with elegant strokes of the pen. The bell tolled shortly after.
