He sees everyone and everything as a giant game and will do his best to plan everything out in his day and gets extremely bothered when something doesn't go according to his plan or is out of his control to fix. He hates being late for anything, and he considers himself being late if he planned to get somewhere ten minutes before he had to and arrives any time after that. Brief History: Arthur went to a private school for Grade School, Middle School, and High School. He was Captain of the Chess Team in High School. He graduated second in his class and went on to a local University in his hometown, where he pursued a Bachelors in Literature and was also on the fencing and chess team; he also met his best friend, Richie, there. After graduation there, he moved to where he is now for Grad School and his Doctoral Studies in Literature with Richie. Arthur has since completed his studies and has been teaching part-time at the same University he got his Ph. D. from for ten years now along with working at a local museum as a rare book collector.
Arthur was born as the middle child to a Psychologist mother and a Professor of History father; he had an older sister and a younger brother. His sister was two years older than him, and his brother was three years younger than him. He didn’t have the best relationship with his sister, but they got along well enough. He had a much better relationship with his younger brother growing up. They all went to a local private school for high school. Naturally, their parents expected a lot of them when it came to school. His sister, Charlotte, cracked under the pressure and rebelled from their parents and chose to slack off in school and not go to college. Luckily, she came to her senses before falling too far and cleaned her act up; she was somewhat able to drag herself back up and get a job as a manager of a gas station. His younger brother, James, didn’t crack, but wasn’t so good at school and instead pursued a career as an electrician. Arthur kept up the high standards his parents set for them, made a little worse by his sister’s choices, and excelled in school and eventually went to college in his hometown and later moved to where he is now for Graduate School and his Doctoral Studies. He majored in Literary Studies in Undergrad and Grad School. He is now near the end of his Doctoral Program in the same subject and is close to getting his PhD. in Literature. Arthur keeps in touch with his brother to this day, but rarely ever hears from his sister. His father died when he was a year into Grad School; his mother now lives in his childhood home with his sister, who in Arthur’s opinion mooches off of his mother despite having a job of her own. In college when he was going for his Bachelor’s in Literature, Arthur was on the fencing team and in the chess club throughout college as well as high school. Arthur only had one best friend, who he didn’t meet until college. His friend, Richie, was his roommate his Freshman year in college and followed him to Grad School and into a Doctoral Program. They lived together in a flat in the city just a block away from the University. The lived together as they completed their studies. Richie has since gotten married and works in a nearby city. Arthur stayed in the city and has been teaching part-time as the very University he got his PhD. at for ten years now along with working for a local museum as a rare book collector.
Skills: Arthur is a very well-spoken man, making him very charismatic; he is also fluent in Latin. He is a very clever and quick-witted man and excels at strategy games such as chess and even fencing. Weaknesses: Arthur is fast when it comes to sprinting short distances, but when it comes to running long distances he has very little endurance. He is also not very physically strong at all and can be overpowered easily by a stronger adversary. Your Turn:
