Leah managed to actually smile again during their conversation as he mentioned helping her find them, though it faded a little as reality reminded her how likely it would be that they'd find them. "Thank you, though they could be anywhere by now" she replied, pausing for a moment before adding, "The only place I could think of looking would be the place I lost them" she said as she finished off the tin of beans she'd been eating from. She had noticed again how the Cowboy moved from any subject concerning his sister and once again decided not to insist on it. Leah let out a yawn as she sat herself back against the wall, minutes of silence passing as the last rays of the sun faded along the floor through the cracks in the boarded windows. "Cowboy?" she'd say to gain his attention, "I'm glad we met, it's... nice, to have company again" she'd say before laying herself down on her side, seeming to be exhausted from her day of scavenging. It wouldn't be long before she was asleep.
