Backstory: Almost three years ago, a strange girl appeared within the confines of On'Man'Ga's lands. Everywhere she walked, the weather grew colder, and with it, the sentiments of the immediate populace's demeanor towards her also grew chilled. So, at the earliest she can remember, she could remember the life of a nomad, moving listlessly from one town to the next until no homes were left. Driven out of each home and each little cottage she could try to house herself within, eventually a life on the streets as a beggar seemed her best option. Slowly, she starved, and the more she starved, the more desperate she became. Even resorting to stealing food and goods alike to simply make ends meet, so that she could at least keep moving into the next tragedy. It wasn't until one day that she was on the run from guards that she came into a place called Calibus. A guild of adventureres and misfits just like her. Initally, she was terrified, but she was met with such a warm welcome. With open arms, they accepted her into their home, even in spite of the chilling air she seemed to constantly emanate. Here, in her new home, she had her first encounter with the Silver Tounged Weaver. He whose flames seemed to embrace creation and destruction. Elijah. Spotting the miserable awkwardness in the Elven girl, he took her beneath his wing alongside the other Wardens. Soon before long, they were engaged in all sorts of missions and misadventures both comical and dangerous at times and it is with his careful help and guidance, she gained better control and precision with her magic. To the point where no longer did she constantly surround herself with cold, but welcomed the warmth of the world. It is with his help that she rose to become one of the most powerful Arch Magi in On'Man, famed for both her prowess and beauty alike. With fame came suitors, and she rejected them. Yet her bliss in finally finding a place she could not call home was still met with tragedy. The world as they knew it was slowly dying. Familiar faces were disappearing into the abyss, and sent out on the most dangerous mission by the Guildmaster, Elijah and Remy found themselves standing at a precipice. In order to continue existing, one of the great four needed to be sacrificed. Daniel, the Warden of the Air, Elijah, the Flame of Creation, Remy, the Warden of Water, or Rastia, the Warden of the Earth. Much to her refusal, Elijah stepped forward to be the sacrifice. She was going to jump instead, whether they liked it or not.. First, she leapt into the void, and the decay of the world stood still. Then he, leapt as well two jumped into the residual remnants of the world. Their sacrifice being that which bound the world together finally put a stop to its prolonged death and brought new life. Yet as her eyes closed with naught but a peaceful expression on her face, she felt no pain, no burning, no burst of magical energy destroying who she was, there was nothing. In fact, she could feel light, and a warmth upon her face of the sun kissing her cheek. Opening one eye, the Elven girl saw rolling green fields and skies of blue. Could this have been the afterlife she was told existed? No. It was quite far from this fact. It was a completely different world! A land called Batoto with many new faces and friends alike! This time, the awkwardness gone from her poise, she settled in quite comfortably to her new surroundings. Soon she became known as one of the most capable Magi. Yet there was still something missing. Relationships: The Captain - (lvl 1) Currently in her travels, Remy is onboard a ship owned by a privateer (others would call her something as uncouth as a Pirate) known as Sciutto. It can be peculiar to think that she would opt for such a mode of travel, however, the ship was sturdy and fast, even though the price seemed a little steep. The journey in itself was nice and quiet to start, until the ship came under attack by an opposing Navy, intending to capture or kill the Captain of her ferry. The enemy's ship was larger, with more people, and better guns, so Remy reluctantly decided to even the odds. Soon decimating the Ship and it's crew with it, the Magi found herself being invited to the Blades of Fealty, the commander to which Sciutto served being someone she had been searching quite some time for. That, and she really enjoyed Remy's Ice Cream recipe. Fay - (lvl 1) A peculiar boy to which claims that his mother is a tentacle monster of sorts. Obviously being that of the Fae, he quickly befriended Remy through bits of small talk and touches of strange humor throughout the voyage. Though it is little known that he too was about to join the ranks of BoF. Having many questions as to her lineage, the Magi let very little on about her history, as such things she preferred would stay hidden. Only talking of former friends and a guild she had once served, he seemed to take great interest; though scatterbrained as that may be. He was a stowaway on the Captain's ship, which very much surprised the Magi when he wasn't simply just thrown overboard. Drexal - (lvl 1) - A descendant of Walter, though assumingly just as lecherous, Remy initially kept her distance from the man during his time in On'Man. Though as time grew on, the immortal Elven girl eventually befriended the man, and he often took up a rather over protective stance of her akin to an older brother of sorts. Yet she could never understand why, perhaps to amend for the sins of his great-great-great-great-great Grandfather. Even though the Drexal of this universe shares no blood relation with the one she is so accustomed to, Remy still thinks of him as the same. Kaal Ratri - (lvl 1) A fellow ancient, Kaal is a credibly powerful Magi that Remy holds immense respect for. Though she hasn't quite met the Magi face to face just yet, the fact that the Captain's ship is en-route back to the Guild Headquarters means that the meeting between two masters of incredible power is inevitable. So great is her reputation that murmurs of rumor still linger throughout the crew of the ship, leading the Frost Magi to almost be intimidated. Yet, it would not be the first time she'd be in the company of a God, nor it seemed, would it be the last. Dan Halen - (lvl 1) Another peculiarly familiar face in the halls of Blades of Fealty. Unsure of him, his general nature and actions lead her to believe that he is one and the same man that she had known in On'Man! Though she never found the bravery to confront him on such a thought. Often were they deployed on missions together, and quickly they began to work quite well with one another with greater coordination, perhaps without even thinking! Soon, she'll find the conviction to confront him on whether or not he is the one she knew so well from another time and place. And it encompasses two specific elements. She is a magi that manipulates time, and utilizes controlling and devastating frost magic. Utilizing precise and manipulative Time Magic, she enhances her Frost Magic abilities as she freezes her enemies and in an essence, shatters them. Conjuring what seems to be bolts, lances, and bombs of Frost, Barriers of Ice and the like, she has a tendency to vanish in the blink of an eye only to be seen in the distance fromt he original point. Style Bonuses: Frost Artes - Allows Remy to wield her specialized Ice elemental Artes. Time Artes - A special range of Artes not normally available to even her magically talented race. This allows her to make use of them. Eternal Freeze - A special trait that distinguishes her as the Mistress of Frozen Eternity. All Frost Artes inflict a Slow status effect which reduces the afflicted's SPD by 10%. Overlimit: Time Warp - (M.Atk Support) This Overlimit increases the combat capability of herself and her allies by a significant amount. Literally making it seem as if they no longer obey the rules of time itself as they move and strike with utterly inhuman speeds. For three posts, the party's combat capability becomes utterly monstrous, and a force to be truly feared. (+2 to base Skl/Spd for All party members) Artes List Assault Abilities: Frost Dragon's Breath - (M.Atk Assault) (0 TP) Remy conjures a Dragon's head that blasts enemies close in front of her with Frigid Shards of Ice Shrapnel. Frozen Orb - (M. Atk Assault) (0 TP) Remy sends forward a orb of Frost that sends small bursts of Frost Magic outward from it in a ten-yard radius. Travels with remarkable speed towards her target for 20 seconds. Frost Bolt - (M.Atk Assault) - (1 TP) Remy conjures a bolt of Frost that strikes her enemy with destructive power, and also slows down their movement. Ice Lance - (M.Atk Assault) - (2 TP) Remy conjures a Lance of Ice that is as sharp as it is deadly, and hurls it at her enemy. Ice Nova - (M.Atk Assault) - (1 TP) Remy conjures a literally explosion of Ice that can snare any person within ten yards of her. Making them immobilized for a brief moment of time. Frost Bomb - (M.Atk Assault) - (3 TP) Remy surrounds an adversary with frigid air, which eventually collapses in on them and detonates in a frigid, shrapnel-filled blast after several seconds. Cone of Cold - (M.Atk Assault) - (2 TP) Whipping air about violently, Remy unleashes a massive cone of frigid air that runs the risk of freezing people in place. Blizzard - (M. Atk Assault) - (3 TP) Remy conjures forth a devastating blizzard with harsh winds and bitter temperatures over a general area. Ranging from a ten yard width to a city block. Causes reduced visibility, damage from hail and shards of ice tearing through the sky and the like. She however, needs to channel this ability to get it to work and to continue to work properly. Support Abilities: Ice Block - (M.Atk Support) - (2 TP) In times of extreme danger, Remy surrounds herself in a massive block of ice. Of which is impervious to physical and magical blows to buy time. Icy Veins - (M. Atk Support) - (1 TP) For a brief moment of time, she increases her own personal haste by threefold. Increasing her combat capabilities remarkably. (+2 to base Spd/Skl for three posts) Ice Barrier - (M.Atk Support) - (2 TP) Conjuring a shield about herself, it is a semi-translucent barrier of ice that can take physical blows. If broken, the shield explodes outward in an Ice Nova. Ring of Frost - (M. Atk Support) - (2 TP) Creating a massive ring of translucent magic on the ground, any who trespass in or out of it's borders become frozen and encased in ice. Deep Freeze - (M.Atk Support) - (3 TP) Remy literally freezes a person in place. Encasing them in a block of ice. Holding them imprisoned for a few seconds and making them extremely vulnerable. Frozen Armor - (M.Atk Support) (0 TP) Remy can create a hardened, transparent icy armor for her own protection. Those who succeed in hitting her are slowed down as the Ice travels down the blade to their body. Shatter - (M.Atk Passive) - Any enemy struck by an Ice Lance while Frozen or Frozen in place suffers a "shatter" effect. In an essence, they take an extra 50% damage from Ice Lance Blink - (M.Atk Support) - (0 TP) Remy ceases to exist in one point of time, and reemerges in another. Ranging in distance from several feet to nearly thirty feet away. Counterspell - (M.Atk Support) - (0 TP) Twice in any fight, Remy can counterspell an opponent caster. Breaking their cast and silencing them, making them unable to cast for several seconds. Greater Invisibiliity - (M.Atk Support) (1 TP) Before combat begins, the Mistress of Time can warp the very air that surrounds her, creating an illusion of invisibility for her adversaries. Alter Time - (M.Atk Support) - (3 TP) Remy alters the flow of time. Creating an imprint of herself in another time, at her will, she can return to that imprint, undoing anything that might've been done to her. Presence of Mind - (M. Atk Support) - (1 TP) Remy alters her own personal time for several minutes, granting increased casting haste. (+2 Spd) Evocation - (M. Atk Support) - (0 TP) Channelling her focus for several seconds, Remy rewinds the costs of casting magic. The longer the channel lasts, the more TP she restores. Though it makes her vulnerable, as there is nothing else she can do while channeling. Burst Artes: Frost Bolt Barrage - (M.Atk Assault) - (4 TP) Remy summons anywhere from six to a dozen frostbolts at once to strike her adversary or adversaries with similar effects. Ice Lance Barrage - (M. Atk Assault) - (4 TP) Remy summons anywhere from six to a dozen Ice Lances and hurls them at a single target. Often used as an execution move. Frost Bomb Barrage - (M.Atk Assault) - (4 TP) Conjuring multiple Frost Bombs at once, Remy literally causes several to a dozen bombs to detonate at once on a single person.
