[b]Back story:[/b] Manami spent most of her life in front of a computer. She was one of those girls who really never had many friends. Even before she found the wonder of the internet she was very anti-social, always preferring to stay inside. Once she got a hold of her first laptop, however, she took off into the infinite landscape of the cyber world. That's where she found her first taste of anime, manga, and video games. Despite not having many friends locally she made a few friends online and has published several mods for games (mostly eroge) that have won her a bit of fame on her regular forums. 

Manami breezed through school, never having any major issues, so it was no surprise that she got accepted into Todai University. The transition to Chiba was like coming to a new world and she can hardly wait to meet real Otaku friends as they were practically non-existent in her home town. She is also looking for friends to help her learn about the other parts of creating video games since her only talent is programming. She hopes to one day start her own independent video game company.
