Just had a random thought about the benefits/costs of visiting settlements, does this make any sense? (Per turn obvs)

/ = OR
/ = between

Town
+ 10 health
+ 10 smithing/combat/psyche/stamina
- 10 coin
Can purchase level 4 and below weapons/armour

City
+ 15 health
++ 20 smithing/combat/psyche/stamina
+ 10 magicka/enchantment
- 25 coin
Can purchase up to level 8 weapons and armour

Ruins/dungeon
- 0/30 health (depending on armour)
+ chance of 0/50 coin
Can find rare/legendary weapons and armour
+ 10/30 valour

Well there it gets a bit complicated. But when I may make it that in every village, town, and city that all scratches and minor bruises are healed. In Temples cuts are healed and medium-sized bruises are healed.

In a Ruins/dungeon you don't heal anything. but yeah in Ruins/Dungeon is where you'd find legendary weapons.

Yeah actually that makes more sense, just let me know if you want me to add anymore temples/dungeons to the map for the sake of continuity

@CapnCookie could you add some more dungeons and temples to the map if it's alright? Also maybe make one more city in the middle of the world like the main hub? And right next to the hub city. (It could be next to the big lake) would be Random Dungeon which gives a new dungeon per day, accessible only once a day in real life!

Will we have crafting skills going on, or will it all just be through loot?

Also, what are our current established status ailments?

HP items (Don't know if I want them to heal by health percentage or by flat numbers. Up to you Diamond):

Beginner level: Cow's Milk, heals for 10% of your total HP/50 points. Usable once every paragraph or however you want the cooldowns to be.

Advanced Beginner: Chocolate Milk, heals for 20% of your total HP/150 points. Usable once every paragraph.

Intermediate: Milk shake, heals for 30% of your total HP/300 points. Usable once every two paragraphs.

Advanced Intermediate: Flavored milk shake, heals for 40% of your total HP/800 points. Usable once every two paragraphs.

Elite: Cheese, heals for 50% of your total HP/1200 points. Usable once every three paragraphs.

Super Elite: Milk Beef Stew, heals for 60% of your total HP/2000 points. Usable once every post.

Mana Items:

Beginner level: Canned Sardines, heals for 10% of your total MP/50 points. Usable once every paragraph or however you want the cooldowns to be.

Advanced Beginner: Tasty Tuna, heals for 20% of your total MP/150 points. Usable once every paragraph.

Intermediate: Crusty Crab, heals for 30% of your total MP/300 points. Usable once every two paragraphs.

Advanced Intermediate: Heavy Lobster, heals for 40% of your total MP/800 points. Usable once every two paragraphs.

Elite: Fresh Salmon, heals for 50% of your total MP/1200 points. Usable once every three paragraphs.

Super Elite: Gigantic Clam, heals for 60% of your total MP/2000 points. Usable once every post.

NOTE: ALL NUMERICAL VALUES can be adjusted accordingly.

I'll get on it as soon as I get back from work later today (GMT) I was thinking about putting boundaries in perhaps, so that there would be 3/4 territories?

@Maki Casanova. Each healing item will have a description of what it heals, only Mana will use numbers. Also no cooldowns.

Example: Cow's Milk heals bruises and cuts while Chocolate Milk heals flesh wounds and bigger bruisrs, etc, and so on.

For a mana system....ugh I'll need help on that one.

@CapnCookie that would be a good idea! Divide it so there are 3/4 regions, each with a name.

Aah sorry, I didn't know about that part. :) Will repost an edit. Thanks!

Also, I have a simple suggestion for the mana sytem: uses per spell. The system I'm thinking of is similar to Summon Night: Sword Craft Story, where each spell has a specific number of uses depending on your level. At level 1, your main character in the game starts out with one spell, which they can only use twice until they run out of spell usages and need to go back for healing or use MP potions. In order to improve the clarity of this sytem though, I would need the all the spells in the game.

On the other hand, we could do a traditional RPG numbers sytem for mana where each spell costs a specific amount per usage, only limited by the amount of mana the user currently has, but that would require lots of calculations regarding the scaling of each person's mana, and since classes are free form... yeah.

If we're delving into all this game mechanics, does this belong to tabletop roleplay? Or does the latter rely mostly on dice rolls and chance instead of statistics?

@Maki I'll have to think about a Mana system, there aren't any levels but instead a little system I have for Character development.

@Bing the only mechanics will be the Matarial tier list and maybe a nobleman system

@SillyGoy good to know I'll have an OOC up today or tommmorow

@Diamond

All right. Now I need those status ailments so I can get to work on cure items, unless you want me to cover that too. :D

HP items:
Beginner level: Cow's Milk, heals minor cuts and bruises.

Advanced Beginner: Chocolate Milk, heals bleeding cuts and larger bruises.

Intermediate: Milk shake, heals large gashes and welts.

Advanced Intermediate: Flavored milk shake, heals fatal stab wounds and crushed bones(not including skull)

Elite: Cheese, heals severed limbs and bleeding organs.

Edit: I decided to take out Super Elite, since it was redundant.

I put up the edited HP list, and will modify the MP list once you put down the Mana system.

And btw, what's the difference between Sickness and Poisoned, and Poisoned and Badly Poisoned?

-Leather: Leather has many positive material properties that make it very versatile. Its durable nature and soft feel have made it a popular choice for the armor that is used today.

This is what u have so far for the properties, took me a while to come up with this
